I have used this branch of Hertz since 2013 and have never had an issue. The cars are always new.

It is very easy to get to with complimentary shuttles running constantly.

Very disappointed to be unable to contact Hertz to ask a simple question.
THIS FIRM AND LOCATION….NOT RECOMMENDED !!
This from a huge, worldwide company that can’t be contacted after hours ! In this 24/7 world, I just couldn’t believe it !
BIG LIES: 24 hour service as stated on the rental agreement ? NO !
Not by the published telephone numbers on the rental paperwork or website. No contact as recorded message said “open office hours only !”
By chat ? NO ! The correctly entered information was not accepted.
By email ? NO ! I sent an email that was not answered until too late the following day.
They were happy to take my money, but can’t provide a simple service. I will never use Hertz again. I’m pretty sure I’ll get a canned response saying they will follow up on it, big deal !, doesn’t do me a bit of good.
I will also be contacting AAA (auto club) to tell them that they should not send their club members to this site.
On the plus side, I was provided a new car, which was great. The pickup and return was very good.
NOT RECOMMENDED !

Had a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Fast and convenient coach from the terminal.
Kind staff.
Got keys super fast (~5 minutes).
Car was clean and awesome the whole way, not to mention that it was almost new.
Work 24/7, so I was able to return it at any time convenient for me.
Then very fast and convenient coach back to the terminal.

Staff was rude, robotic and useless for the most part. I had no help and everything seemed black and white with rules when the booking is vague and lacking of information. So make sure to ask any questions before the booking and review ALL information, since mine did not show the vehicle I rented was manual only. I can drive a manual, but never done it with the opposite arm, while driving on the opposite side of the road. So I had asked to get an automatic, to which they said it was 50 ponds a DAY extra!!! All they did was stare at me and even when i spoke with American Express and needed their help, they could not do anything because the lack of care with hertz.
Basically i had to take the vehicle, cancel or pay 250 pounds more just for an automatic. They could careless. We ended up taking the vehicle and figured it out as we went. Upon returning, we were met by two gentlemen who were apparently angry with their lives because they were annoyed to answer any questions. I asked if his walk through was good and he mumbled a word at me. I asked where we needed to wait for the bus cause the signs were inaccurate due to construction or a sign missing for terminals 1,2 and 3 but they just pointed while not even looking at me.
I will never rent a vehicle from here again.

Very Good Selection of Cars, Nice and Clean. Top Top Service, Andreas Was Very Professional Explained Everything in Detail for absolute no confusion later(which there wasn't). Sid was Very Nice and Helpful too. Would Definitely go there again and Recommend them always. It will be our Default Car Hire Co. From now..!!

Our flight was delayed getting into LHR (2 hour delay). When we arrived, we had to wait for a car to be cleaned before we take possession. Because of the wait, I did not take pictures of the car before driving off the lot. I did walk around the car to verify there was not any significant damage to the car. When we returned the car 5 days later, nobody was around to check the car back in. I took a photo of the instrument cluster to show mileage and fuel quantity. Eventually, someone came out and looked at the left rear wheel and stated there was damage to the wheel. Yes, there was a very insignificant scratch to the wheel. I didn't scrub the wheels but I can't prove that the damage was not there when I picked it up as I did not take pictures. ALWAYS, ALWAYS take pictures of the car before driving off the lot at this location. Anyway, I returned the car with 5866 miles on the odometer. My invoice says the car had 10,866 miles on the odometer and I was charged for driving the car 900 miles. I might have driven the car 400 miles, well within the free mileage. Then I received an extra damage charge of $250 for a tiny scratch on the left rear wheel. Do not trust this location! They will try to over bill you for your rental!!

Update: I sent the requested information but I have not had any response from Hertz regarding this claim. It has been 3 weeks and nothing. I have tried multiple avenues to get this addressed but all have failed. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERTZ!!

Easy drop off location. Efficient service and no waiting with car return. Shuttle service was empty, ready and waiting. It also had a great driver who checked we hadn’t forgotten any valuables, helped us with our luggage and then took us straight to our terminal. Whole thing, couldn’t have been easier.

THEY ARE LYING THIEVES!!! DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!!

My partner and I flew all the way from Australia to rent a car for 2 nights. Hertz presented the vehicle noting minor damages, and we were initially satisfied.l upon our assessment of the vehicle. However the photos they provided of the car were all blurry and conveniently cropped so that the wheels cannot be seen.

We barely drove the car, only using it on the motorway and leaving it in a hotel car park. We didn’t even drive it near a curb. There were absolutely no damages incurred.

To our surprise we were then charged an additional £299 for “scratches to the wheels.” It’s a COMPLETE SCAM!!!!
