It is very easy to get to with complimentary shuttles running constantly.

This from a huge, worldwide company that can’t be contacted after hours ! In this 24/7 world, I just couldn’t believe it !
BIG LIES: 24 hour service as stated on the rental agreement ? NO !
Not by the published telephone numbers on the rental paperwork or website. No contact as recorded message said “open office hours only !”
By chat ? NO ! The correctly entered information was not accepted.
By email ? NO ! I sent an email that was not answered until too late the following day.
They were happy to take my money, but can’t provide a simple service. I will never use Hertz again. I’m pretty sure I’ll get a canned response saying they will follow up on it, big deal !, doesn’t do me a bit of good.
I will also be contacting AAA (auto club) to tell them that they should not send their club members to this site.
On the plus side, I was provided a new car, which was great. The pickup and return was very good.

Fast and convenient coach from the terminal.
Kind staff.
Got keys super fast (~5 minutes).
Car was clean and awesome the whole way, not to mention that it was almost new.
Work 24/7, so I was able to return it at any time convenient for me.
Then very fast and convenient coach back to the terminal.

Basically i had to take the vehicle, cancel or pay 250 pounds more just for an automatic. They could careless. We ended up taking the vehicle and figured it out as we went. Upon returning, we were met by two gentlemen who were apparently angry with their lives because they were annoyed to answer any questions. I asked if his walk through was good and he mumbled a word at me. I asked where we needed to wait for the bus cause the signs were inaccurate due to construction or a sign missing for terminals 1,2 and 3 but they just pointed while not even looking at me.
I will never rent a vehicle from here again.
Update: I sent the requested information but I have not had any response from Hertz regarding this claim. It has been 3 weeks and nothing. I have tried multiple avenues to get this addressed but all have failed. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERTZ!!
My partner and I flew all the way from Australia to rent a car for 2 nights. Hertz presented the vehicle noting minor damages, and we were initially satisfied.l upon our assessment of the vehicle. However the photos they provided of the car were all blurry and conveniently cropped so that the wheels cannot be seen.
We barely drove the car, only using it on the motorway and leaving it in a hotel car park. We didn’t even drive it near a curb. There were absolutely no damages incurred.
To our surprise we were then charged an additional £299 for “scratches to the wheels.” It’s a COMPLETE SCAM!!!!
