Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Palmers Green

For my first experience; Amazing staff they are friendly, professional and extremely helpful. It's nice to know you can try it your 200 pound deposit back plus you can get extras too if needed. I would highly recommend the vehicles are clean and looked after. Also they are brilliant for transgender like myself, I had changed my name by deed poll but licence still in old name and with proof they where happy to help. So yes deffo my number 1 rental from now on

I have happily used enterprise for years but after my last rental I am going to consider other options.

The biggest gripe I have is that they appear to have moved towards trying to make excessive money through damages and promote expensive insurance options. I was told that I should take out their roadside assistance over my own because if I changed a blown tyre and it wasn't the same brand I would be charged £1700 per tyre. They were also making clear that two scratches on the car, or even two chips on different positions on the same windscreen would mean £3400. Fair?

What then made it transparent to me was that I was offered a van with many such damages on it including a broken wing mirror (yes, that's £1700 too). Not only was it extremely stressful to try and pick out all the damages and ensure they were logged, it demonstrated that they don't always put the money they charge towards fixing the vehicles. I was short of time and spent £150 on extra insurance for peace of mind which I suspect is their objective all along.

I have other complaints too. The first car I got (one in good condition) had a leak and arranged to bring it back and get another but what they gave me (the damaged one) didn't look like it had been checked. It was dirty and the oil light started flashing as soon as I got in. They had made no effort to have a car ready for me.

Also I always seem to get the car with only a quarter tank which means they'll usually earn a bit of fuel from customers. If they gave you the car with a full tank and expected it back with a full tank, customers would be able to pay for what they use and it would be much more convenient being able to just fill it up before returning.

Enterprise have a policy whereby anyone over 25 with a valid licence can hire a car. I checked this beforehand with customer services over the phone and they assured me I could still hire even though I'd had my licence less than a year. When I arrived to pick up my hire car, they turned me away on the basis that my licence was less than a year old. I'd travelled over an hour to get there, wasting time and money.

I was looked after by one of Enterprise's Rental Managers, Derek Acquah. What a hero! Possibly the best customer service I have ever received. All sorted out at 8 am so I could get to work on time. Thank you, Derek, thank you Enterprise.

I hired a sprinter size van to help my son move to Manchester, and I have to say thought the check in , check out service was excellent , as was the entire process throughout, everything was carried out professionally and most importantly fairly.
A special mention goes to Jamal , who was really helpful and pleasant , even at 9am on a Saturday morning !!, this experience shows, you can trust certain car/van hire companies.

Moving day so needed a van, Maz was fantastic, he completed the check in quickly, efficiently and with a smile, same with the return. The kind of service that makes a stressful day a bit easier. Van was top notch, clean 71 plate as well. Great branch 👍🏼

Excellent service every single time. I can’t recommend this place enough. So many time they have gone beyond their regular service to help my business. Enterprise feel like they’re an extension to my company, we’ve stopped leasing cars altogether, that’s how reliable they are. Halil, from day one, has been great. From day one he has been helping us through understanding the rental process - through to now sourcing vehicles in super short notice. I sometimes feel like he’s one of my own staff.

Everyone at the centre is polite, presentable, efficient and professional at all times. The vehicles are always squeaky clean and ready for us to take when we arrive.

My only complaint is that they are so good at what they do I feel they’ll get very popular soon and run out of vehicles!

Over the last couple of years I have watched a friendly, reliable and competent team be built at this branch who truly care about the customer.
