Bad customer service. No appropriate contracts in place. Still fighting for a refund as they collected the car a week earlier when rental fee was taken in advance.

Just to let you all know that this company stealing money from people who hires their cars. I hired Mercedes and hold my deposit, when I return their vehicle due to technical issue, the owner hold my deposit. They bought all vehicles in auction, and it’s not road worthy. I complained so many time. They only said don’t worry. When I asked to refund my deposit, they made so many excuse and refused to pay me. I will report to TFL and MOT inspection to recheck their vehicle, because it’s my standard.

Rented out a Vauxhall Zafira 2017. Upon inspecting the car, the car was in a poor state, seemed like they have purchased from auction and left it for months as there were writing marking on the side back lights. The sensors were not working, the brake pads & discs
needed changing I've pointed all these issues out and was advised that it'll be all changed & repaired in a couple hours. And in the mean time to pay for my insurance and also to upload the documents on uber. At this point i've paid for the insurance and came to collect the vehicle.

All that was achieved in the space of 6 hours was they managed to wash the car, but not
bother changing the brake pads & discs.
The pads had about 5-10% life still left in them, and you can tell it's nearly achieved it's life span by the squeeks you'd heard in the brakes.

Brought this matter up and the individual at Imperial Simply said "don't worry you'll
get used to driving without sensors". At this point i was in complete astonishment, thinking to myself this is a big mistake. I've explained to them that sensors were very important and i would not have taken the vehicle out as i did advise you of this and the brake pads/discs At this point they've trapped me into taking the car out as i've now already paid for the insurances and their deposit and first weeks rent. They mentioned that they will repair it as soon as they have the parts. Two weeks have gone by, the parking sensors have not been repaired and neither the pads/discs

On the third week, Monday i brought the vehicle at 9 am and was advised it’ll be done in a hour for the brake pads / discs to be changed. My full days work on Monday, has gone to waste as they did not finish it the whole day. Then came to Tuesday, and was advised the car would be ready by 6 pm. At this point my entire day has gone to waste again. I went and collected the car back on Wednesday 12 pm afternoon and they managed to change the pads/discs. Driving the car for two hours and the gearbox is gone. Advised Imperial of this on the phone and they’re response was “don’t worry it does that sometimes it’ll be ok” at this point i was really fed up. I brought the car back and had to take the representative at imperial for a drive to explain this is not safe to be driven on the road. Eventually he understood and said he’ll have it repaired in an hour.

At this point i’ve waited two hours, and the representative at imperial came back and explained that it’ll be done by 12 pm on Thursday. Came back Thursday and nothing was done. No progress, eventually the matter dragged on till Saturday. At this point my entire week has gone to waste with no work. And my insurance has also gone to waste as i set up a 1 month cover.

Please stay away from this unprofessional company that’ll simply try and bait you into taking their broken cars at premium prices. And do their best to not give your deposit or any money they owe you back. I’ve had a terrible experience, and advise everyone to read this prior to taking their cars out.

Delivered parts here for Mobeen Shamsi. Complete time waster. Provides inaccurate and missing delivery details and then bad mouths you when there are delays in delivery. Wont deal with again
