There is only one person on the front desk every morning and the queue can be tiresome. A lack of acknowledgement would go a long way to make one feel better when waiting for over 20 minutes but it's more the fault of the manager for not putting enough staff at the front than the lady serving the customers. Cars are good but can keep deposit for longer than wanted.

Staff at North Finchley was very friendly and helpful. We did not like the car we were allocated, we were offered another car they had in stock (brand new) that we really wanted and got really good upgrade rate. We've been renting from Europe car on regular basis since last year, staff has always been very helpful, polite and professional and we got car we wanted, good value and clean. Very happy with the service and looking forward to our next rental.

Experience was terrible! We rented the car understanding that we would be able to bring the car back at 5.30 the next day but were then asked to bring it back for 1.30 the next day. When we said this wasn't possible we were told we could drop the car off at 5.30 and place the keys in a drop box but that this was at our own risk. Who would leave the keys to a valuable car somewhere at their own risk. It makes no sense!

We were then told we could drop the car off at the kings cross branch but that there would be a charge for doing this. Really unfair.

Finally, we rented a 5 door hatchback and they tried to give us a 3 door hatchback. It's only after arguing that we were given a 5 door polo.

This was such a bad experience it's unreal

The car was not ready at pickup time as it was not returned until around 8:40 am by the previous customer. Although I booked it for 8:00 am, the receptionist response to that was just I have to wait or cancel the booking. Also when collecting the car the fuel tank looked full so I drove away and in less than half a mile, it dropped a level which indicates it was not probable filled up and I did not have any more time to spend to go back to the branch was already late for work and not happy with the lateness and the bad experience. Also for 53.1 Miles driven, I had to fill the tank for £16 (13.69 L) which sound a too high consumption for such a car or rather the tank was not properly filed as indicated before. Finally, somehow I can't find a trace of my booking on the online account or the application, although the receptionist confirmed to me at pickup time that she has the membership number linked to the booking.

Always a good experience with this branch, good value and straight forward pick up and drop off. Overall they have good prices and a good selection of cars that have suited whatever occasion I'm renting a car for. There is one woman in particular who is lovely, friendly and happy. Soooo many car rental companies have miserable staff that are always trying to get more money out of you, it's great to not to have that kind of treatment here 👍

Terrible. rented a car for the weekend,
cost 147 pounds. just before returning the car the tyre pressure light went on, while returning the car I informed the service representative who checked the car with me with the issue, he checked, said its fine and signed me on the release paper. A week later i received a letter that claimed that there was a nail in the tire and that I need to pay the ridiculous amount of 110 pounds! tried to talk again and again with costumer service because obviously i did not put any nail in the tyre and its outrages that I will pay for a tyre puncture repair almost the same amount that the car rental cost! plus, to end this horrible service, they just took the payment from the card they had without letting me know.

A pre-booked prearranged the reservation that was meant to be delivered to Volkswagen Alan Day at 9:30 was delayed by 2 hours.

Customer representative on the phone sounded half drunk, the representative was from Knightsbridge branch covering the Finchley branch - I would not recommend and will not use again as an absolute. Customer services is absolutely appalling, horrendous!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I was provided a courtesy car whilst there was a warranty repair on my car.
I returned the car to the garage, in the condition in which I received it. No one checked the car.
Europcar collected it the following evening and 4 weeks later, without any word of warning, debited £290 from my credit card.
The date of damage is 4 days before I even returned the car!
Customer service next to useless - 4 weeks later, have not got anywhere with them.
