Budget Car Hire - Bristol Airport

Two weeks after renting the car we received a letter claiming that we damaged the car. On the provided photo the scratch is barely visible, but the car registration of a car parked next to it is very clear. Car was dropped off at 8AM, inspection took place almost two hours later so plenty of time for someone to scratch it while walking past. Apparently we were responsible for the car until midday next day, we paid as couldn't prove otherwise. Please read carefully their T&C and make plenty of photos if you choose them.

car was dented on one side and damaged on other and only one side noted on contract. no one was in kiosk for return and spent 10 minutes looking for the agent in car park. eventually had to return key to drop box.
I have been over charged and in wrong currency. Customer service does not answer phone and have had no response to emails. Have no choice but to dispute charge.

We got a really nice car, the staff was fine and the pick-up/drop-off was really fast.
However, after the end of the rental (and after I was told that everything was fine with the car), £245 more was deducted from my account. First they claimed I did not fuel the car (which I did), then I received some refund, but according to their documentation my car hire was more expensive than I thought so (and my agreement stated).
Even though everyone was helpful at the support side, I had to fight over 2 weeks and 7 phone calls (each 20 mins at least) for my money. In the end I got the correct refund, but I should not be the one who argues this long because of their mistakes.

Closed at 3pm had a pick up at 5pm 100% confirmed by budget Bristol and the booking agent the agent contact budget Bristol and confirmed with me for that time really messed me about and cost me allot of money cheers guys 😐 left stranded at the airport and had to pay for a turn up on the day car hire with another company that managed to help me out cheers "enterprise"❤️💪

"Update"returned today to get the help needed to try resolve my issue and get my refund sorted guy on the desk with "lazy eye and glasses" was really negative and dismissive, asked for a manager said not available! Told wasn't budgets issue zero customer service zero help due" to me booking via a agent even though budget are holding my money! Section 75 charge back it will be lucky I payed on my credit card!

The resolve came via the helpful people at "europcar" nice guys really helpful would recommend them! STAY CLEAR OF BUDGET BRISTOL AIRPORT! You have been warned!

I recently used Budget Car Hire for a trip and overall had mixed feelings about the experience. The facilities and pick-up/drop-off area were great, but I had an issue with the car I was given and the customer service was lacking in resolving the problem. Despite repeated attempts to get the issue fixed, they were unable to replace or change the car, leaving me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I've used this company several times in the past, but this experience has made me consider looking for alternative options in the future. I guess I drive the vehicle into the ground

Nice people, good service, easy pick up & out of hours drop off. And a decent car. Can recommend.
FYI the Budget/Avis desk is found near the Silver zone car park. Car rentals are all in the same location, about 1 mile away from the terminal building via a free bus ride which runs every 15 mins or so.
