I used Turo for my trip to Florida and it was absolutely terrible. To be fair the first majority of the trip was fine. Our last day there the car died on our way to the airport and when we tried to contact the host there was no answer the number went straight to voicemail. It took 2 hours to get Turo to answer on their 24hr line. After all was said and done Turo took $150 out of my bank account unauthorized. I never received an invoice or anything for the money. Ended up calling my bank and they refunded it. The host was extremely rude and accused me of abandoning her car, will never use Turo again .

This company is a scam, the clients are not protected against claims from the hosts. Avoid at all cost

Zero support or mediation from Turo, please avoid. They even tack on their own sfees for handling his fraudulent claims and the host has full impunity to be disrespectful and rude towards me as a guest both via the app and social media. The company has no contact number and no helpline unlike the US branch. They make everything so difficult and then they expect you to deal with any issues via their slow and unresponsive web chat which gives you scripted answers and doesn’t connect you with an actual human being. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had - 0/10
