Europcar do offer very competitive prices for van rental, but you have to beware the extra insurances they will try to sell you.
Plan in some extra time to get to his particular branch. Sat Nav will get you there, but due to the one-way road layout it is a challenge to actually reach the site. Driving a van from and to this place is also challenging as the roads are very narrow and full of parked cars.
Staff is very friendly and try to serve you as quick as possible. Unfortunately, even with online pre booking and having all your paperwork ready, it still takes some time to drive away with your rental.
Although they did wash the van, it still was quite dirty on pickup and the front tire was just about legal.
Good point was the availability of parking spaces for my own car for the time I had rented the van and the very friendly staff. Without that, I would have rated only a one star.

The process of renting and returning a car from Europcar is so smooth. We have booked a five seater online and collected the vehicle the next day at their office. The staff at Europcar are friendly and offer excellent customer support. They have finished the document verification and handover under 20 minutes. Keep in mind that a deposit of 250£ will be kept by Europcar until after five days of the return date. If you are returning the car after the office hours, you just have to park the vehicle and drop the keys in a box placed outside the office.
P.S. if you are looking for a seven seater, book a car well in advance as they have limited cars available.

Booked a van 2 weeks prior to the day I needed to collect it. On arrival to collect the van the lady behind the counter was very nice welcoming kind and polite and a credit to the company but this is where the very disappointing part comes. A man from out the back came out and told me the van I had booked couldn’t be booked out because it needed a service (which they had only just realised) I was offered a smaller van but this wouldn’t of been suitable for what I needed it for so I had no choice but to leave without a van at 5.30 pm and in desperate need for a van for the following morning I had to rush to a rival company who was brilliant but unfortunately cost me double the cost 🤦🏼‍♂️ Not what you need when money is already tight. Won’t be using europcar again in the future!

Don’t bother trying to get in touch with them. Called at different points throughout the day multiple days in a row with no answer. Called the Europcar central line to forward me over to them still no answer. Poor service from an international company! They must really enjoy the sound of their ringtone. I suggest a staff training day on how to pick up a phone and press the green button

Very good service. Had to wait a little while as the car was not ready but then I was a little early as well. Pre checked all my credentials whilst I waited. The car was practically new with less than 300 miles on it. All in all excellent service.

Horrible place to rent car!!!! Cars dirty and whit bad smell. Collection spouse to be Monday . Nobody arrive to collect. Rearrange for Tuesday beetween 9-10 in morning and again nobody arrive. Missed my doctor appointment!!! Try to call them nobody answering phone . Avoid this place!!! Don't stress yourself

Awful service. Had a vehicle from yourselves. I dropped the car at my dealership with a FULL tank of petrol. They have charged my card with £30 odd pound of petrol, from an office in Leicester. I have already placed a complaint - be aware they take money for nothing! Absolutely terrible!

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The car was great and did exactly what I wanted. The gentleman at the shop also helped me figure out the Bluetooth.
