I had a lovely vehicle, drove beautiful on the motorway. And the price for hire for the four days was really good. Shame about the price of the deposit and the waiver they have gone up quite a lot. But overall the service was good and the vehicle was great.

Great value for key, experience and customer service from the Hatton Cross team. And when I wanted to extend the rental it was as simple as a quick call to the back office team.

I will definitely be using them again and have no hesitation in giving them 5 stars

The team did an excellent job . All 3 staff were kind friendly and represented Sixt rent a car in a superb and splendid way. From the moment I came through into the hotel I felt welcomed and all my needs addressed. Due to unavailability of the requested car I was upgraded and not charged anything extra. The car itself a Q2 was a 20 reg and in immaculate condition. Both the staff upstairs and downstairs deserve a round of applause for a job well done.

I tried to extend my lease and was told that it was fine. It wasn't fine.
My lease was not extended and I had to go the following day to try and sort it out. They had also shut the Hatton Cross site and I had to go to a booth they had in a hotel at Terminal 5.
I was told they had no cars available for me. Then they told me that I could have the car I was currently using, but it would be twice the price. I told them that that was out of my price range and they told me there was nothing they could do. I returned the car and they told me that I had to pay for whatever fuel was missing. I pointed out that I had come intending to drive the car away with an extension of the rental, so why would I have filled it up?

In the end they charged me for
-returning the car a day late - even after I had be told my rental had been extended.
-Returning the car the car to a different site - even though it was they who had changed site
-the missing fuel.
None of these charges, aside for the fuel, were communicated to me when I returned the car. They just took the money out of my account.

I called to complain about the above and I was told that the manager would need to deal with it.

I have never had a response from the manager of this branch, or from anyone in Sixt to address my concerns.

Poor service.

We took the lucky dip option for a two day hire and got an Audi Q3. Friendly staff and on the return handover there is always a bit of dread in case they notice some pre-existing but undocumented damage (we knew we hadn't scraped anything). But the guy took a quick look and the price stayed as agreed in advance. A pleasant experience.

Positive experience overall - good value for money. The car was very clean and in great state. Wait time at the branch was a bit too long, but the staff made it easy. Was a bit unsure about some of the car documentation and where to find it in case it was required (if there was an accident, for example) but luckily nothing happened.

It all started with a wonderful customer service when we picked up the car. Unfortunately the service after rental is really disappointing: on the final bill, a 62.5£ fee for "special cleaning" had been added even though the car was not particularly dirty (I had never been informed about this extra cost nor was it in any of the conditions). I tried to call 5 times different phone numbers, sent 3 emails to different addresses and still no answer. I won't give up until someone gets back to me, but I would definitely not recommend Sixt to anyone and will not rent a car with them again. Never forget the customer's journey lasts even after the service has been provided ;-)

I guess as they are busy they don't really care what they give you. They tried tell me to upgrade and charge me £30 a day extra, when the difference between the cars was only £5 a day even if I booked then and there. The cars a decent but the whole screen went blank on me a few times, and all the lights come on and off at times.
