Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Ipswich Town Centre

I was promised a call back today about re-arranging a car for my pregnant fiance as the one she was given didn't have functioning air con which you can imagine isn't nice in this heat. Didn't receive the call back and by all accounts everyone finishes at 5:30 rather than the stated time of 6 as I can't get through to speak to anyone, not even the sales team. Poor experience.

Also go here for any car/van needs. The guys and girls working here are top quality with no rubbish sales talk, or robotic attitudes. Can always have banter and they also go that extra mile to offer an upgrade or a better car at a great price. Also whenever I've had issues with the cars *cough* BMW sort it out *cough* they've been fantastic and understanding. Cars always clean, ready on time & of high quality. Will always return whenever I need any rental related vehicles.

Pretty useless, ordered a van - paid for it online. then they called to say we couldnt collect it until 6pm, but had to return it by 12 the next day - the maximum refund James "the manager" could do on a £120 hire was £12 - he was unable to answer basic questions or provide any real resolution. the system will let you hire any vehicle, whether or not its available, and they take 3 days to refund your money, even though they take it instantly. bordeline crooks.

Absolutely rubbish, had a Corsa from them as a courtesy car, then get lumped with a £170 bill FOR A TYRE! Which was most likely already damaged before collecting the vehicle, the damage was so small I would never have noticed it when collecting the car. Terrible customer service take forever to get on the phone, when you do they don't know what they're doing, wait for them to get back in touch but have to chase and call them again and still no-one knows what they're doing. Zero star rating for me

They said they wouldn’t drop off the rent a car and to be there at 10 o’clock and yet they are not here to give me a car making me wait. The second time I used them they made me wait 40 minutes to an hour in 95° weather for them. Poor customer service.

Be careful of scams when you hand back cars - they inspect, accept and then pop up 6 weeks later saying there was mysterious damage to the car (a gouge to the tyre is nice and vague) and then automatically bill your card for additional fees.

They canceled my car at 1800 the night before I was booked to collect. Their system couldn't find my banking address and I don't have a credit card. Despite checking this wouldn't be an issue when I booked. They explained they had no solution, suggested it was my fault and laughed. Rude and incompetent.
