This was my first time renting a car. From the beginning until the end I was explained the process and the whole experience was very pleasant. Special thanks to Florin and Alexandra who were very friendly and professional and made my customer experience fantastic. I will definitely rent with you again, loved it!

Rented small Peugeot van for 24h from Botley site. Price was more affordable than my usual local van hire place (Eurodrive) so I went for it. The staff seam to be very nice and informative when I was picking the van up but on the return, moods have shifted. The 'nice' persons attitude from before was cold like the weather. Looking for smallest of faults with a torch, in the daylight, it just seemed odd. One thing to mention was that van had empty screenwash tank on pick up ,which I believe is illegal in The UK. First thing I had to do was to stop at my place to put some in. Back to the return, even with road scum on the windscreen the enterprise staff found tiny chip in the bottom of the driver side, I took a photo off all 4 sides of the van before handing it over so I thought I am protected agains false accusation of any damage but I did not do any photos up on collection, I am not sure if the chip was there before but certainly did not notice anything while driving. If you choose to rent a car or van from this place do take all the precautions! I will not be coming back for sure,
I'd rather deal with my local, bit more expensive, but at least trusted

Abysmal sums up my experience.

The car was a total piece of junk, scratches, all wheels had chunks out of them, tyres were almost bald (got nails twice in them tiny ones because of no tread and got flats). The boot hatch lid did not work. The worst and you would never get this in the USA. I picked it up with a 1/4 of a tank of petrol/ gas had to go to a gas station before I could even start my journey.

We will pick you up, it is not true, you better call them first or you have to figure it out. Then comes more amazement. I ask before I leave if I can return the car to another location. Yes no problem sir that will be 50 pounds, sounds like daylight robbery but those are the rules. Then when I called the branch to tell them I will be returning elsewhere I had to argue with them that they said they would as to start out they said they would not.

To make matters worse the drop off location for another Enterprise was just as bad.

Bottom line never use Enterprise in The UK if you think you will get an experience like you do in the USA. Plus what I paid for the junk car was the price of a plane ticket, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Avoid them like the plague. 1 star because at least they gave me a car from a junkyard.

The worst part of my entire vacation was dealing with these prize cabbages and the car..

Easy pick up and return for 24h hire 👌🏽 recommend to get damage/excess waiver for peace of mind :)

I hired a car from enterprise as my car was in the garage. On the second day of hire, it developed a fault and had to be recovered back to the dealer. I was promised another car would be waiting, which it wasn't, and the team did not apologies, just said that they couldn't help their cars breaking down "it happens". When a car became ready, it was given to me on 1/8 tank of fuel, meaning i would have to pay the excess. Within minutes of leaving the dealership, the ttyre pressure light came on as the tyres had not been checked. I returned and was told that this wasn't a problem - they did not seem to care about the awful customer service and that I was now late for my night shift. I work in a small highly specialised healthcare team and this delay had a significant impact on my team, which enterprise seemed not to care about. When I returned the car, the manager did apologies and agreed to a refund - however, a month later, and numerous email/ phone calls, I have not recieved my refund which was promised. I would avoid at all costs, their cars are not fit for purpose, unsafe to drive, and promised refunds do not come through.

I had a really nice experience renting from the Enterprise location in Oxford this last week. They were quite busy on a Sunday morning with a number of individuals returning cars at the same time people were picking up, so it may be best to pick up on another day if possible. That said, once it was our turn, we were processed by a very friendly staff member and out in minutes. What really impressed me was Enterprise's ability to easily process a request to change my drop off location in the middle of my trip. I called customer service in the evening, who let me know they'd pass along the request to the Oxford Enterprise office. I assumed my request would evaporate into the ether, but the Oxford office called me back the next morning to say they'd taken care of everything on their end and there was nothing else for me to do! I feel like so many companies have draconian policies on making changes, or you have to make half a dozen calls to ensure your request gets to the right person, and it was just so nice to work with a company that communicates well and takes care of its customers. The only thing I would change are lower rates for automatic transmission cars!

Short notice request to provide a 9 seater vehicle for travel to Europe.

Stuart Tardivo made this possible & worked all day to ensure I was able to get Injured Veterans away on a ski trip

A massive thank you from the Armed Forces Para Snowsport Team (AFPST)
