Had an issue with my DPF filter... a garage I took it to suggested I needed a new one... I wasn't happy that they didn't do much investigation and flippantly said Its at least £1000. I wasn't so sure it needed a new one, it being a Merc, so I decided to take it to Richard at Blackpool Automotive Mercedes specialists.

Richard said he never had to change a DPF filter and said to book it in to look at. I am grateful I did. Richard is extremely knowlegable of Mercedes Benz cars. Did what he had to do with up to date equipment and sorted my issue out. Just over £100 to sort out.

Would highly recommend anyone with a Merc to visit Richard for anything Merc related. Thanks very much!

Have used Richard, at Blackpool Automotive, for over 6 years now for all my Mercedes servicing and repairs and would recommend him to anyone. !

He had to rebuild my engine from scratch after another local Blackpool garage took it apart and couldnt rebuild it. He Did a fantastic job and the engine has been as good as new for the last 10 years. I use him every year for MOT and service and the car runs as good now as when I bought it in 2004.

2 other garages 1 being a so called specialist could not cure my problem but with Richards knowledge he found and cured the fault at a very reasonable cost would highly recommend

E350 CDI w212. My car had a rear suspension issue, the compressor wasn't coming on. Richard new the common faults and it was an easy fix. I know otherr Merc specialist would have started replacing valve control blocks etc. Very good knowledge and service. Definitely recommend 👍👍

Richard always looks after my car. Its great that he can log work and service information on the official Mercedes system. Prices are as expected and fairly reasonable as he generally specialises on Merc's only.

Went to see Richard about a problem with our car and the car was sorted and fixed within 3 days from meeting Richard and back on the road excellent..

Exceptional work carried out for fair prices. Would highly recommend.
