I used MBS after my poor, old, e39 M5 decided to break while out for a drive.

I has not used MBS before, and as the BMW specialist near Exeter couldn't fit me in at such short notice, the recovery driver suggested that he could contact MBS as he knew them and recommended them highly.
After a quick call, to my delight he said that they could fit me in the next day!
I am a car enthusiast and I am very nervous about taking my pride and joy to a new garage that I have no experience with. After my first conversation with them, my worries had gone and they filled me with confidence. They were extremely knowledgeable friendly and understanding.
I explained the history behind the car, and they explained the fault found and the realistic options they had to repair it, along with a worst and best case scenario, including prices.
This was not an expected breakdown and it was just before Christmas, so not financially ideal.. MBS managed to repair the suspension by using the skills of their technician rather than simply bolting on new parts and costing me more. Ideal.
They also put the car through its MOT while it was with them. It did fail on a few things, being a 20 year old performance car this was to be expected. They updated me at every stage and got the old girl upto a much better standard.
The car has never driven better since being with them. I am extremely impressed with their work and whole attitude.
Some main dealers and specialists can be rather dismissive and seem to treat their customers like robots, with no actual care or understanding. MBS really did come across different, a joy to deal with. Not at all judgemental. When I collected the car, they asked if I'd like to speak with the technician who worked on the car. This was a nice touch, he explained everything in layman's terms and really seemed to know his stuff. I could ask him about the cars condition in general and it was nice for them to give you that time and this added to the personal touch.

If you're like me and you treat your car with care and are looking for a safe, honest and knowledgeable German car specialist to look after your pride and joy, then give these guys a try. Best garage that I have used, without question. I hate feeling like I'm being billed for work that wasn't required, or that they're simply not going to look after my car and understand how much it means to me. This garage didn't make me feel any of these things.
They aren't exactly 'cheap' but nowhere near main dealer prices, and I genuinely believe these guys are far better, especially on the older cars. I'd rather pay for the quality, rather than chance it with another garage without this level of specialist knowledge.

Excellent service, feared the worse with my car but the guys at MBS checked it over diagnosed the fault and repaired. Good to find an honest repair centre and Alex was a pleasure to deal with and explained the repairs carried out in detail.

Ollie was exceptionally helpful. What a wonderful service - we showed up unannounced during a road trip with a busted cigarette lighter and dead phones. Halfords quotes us 4 hours and warned they would have to take the car apart. Instead it was 5 minutes and a busted fuse exchanged. Such friendly service - if we lived anywhere close this would be my garage

I visited on Friday 21st for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. Alison was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable and the mechanical staff were quick and efficient. My vehicle was in and out in an hour. MBS clearly run a slick and efficient business as the time slot I was given was adhered to almost perfectly. Cheaper than a main dealer with much friendlier customer service.
The waiting room has fast WiFi, a TV, coffee machine and comfortable armchairs. You won't want to leave!
Thanks to the team at MBS - I shall certainly be back when it's time for my next service item.

Fantastic service, over the Moon. Took my Mini for a MOT was a little concerned by the process made me feel very comfortable and nothing was any trouble .HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Have you ever pulled up for for fuel and cannot open the 'lid' to the filler cap on your prized MB? if so you will know the feeling of panic that can rise, when this did happen we were in Devon and the mechanic at the filling station suggested with visit MBS, they sorted the problem and were completely brilliant, so a big thanks and recognition to Simon and Dan for their calm expertise.

Recommended by a neighbour and I can see why. A good job done at a better price than a main dealer and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I had an issue that required urgent attention as my car was not starting well, not only did Dan fit me in swiftly he even sent an apprentice out in advance to get the engine parts so my car was fixed before the end of the day.
