Recently booked in with Chaz on recommendation for replacement of my 420 SEC timing chain and valve guide stem seals. Chaz provided an over the phone quote and carried out both jobs without fuss. Would very much recommend Prestige Mercedes, Chaz is very knowledgeable, helpful and provided great service. I will be returning later in the year for some additional work.

I cant recommend Chas highly enough. He’s the reason I keep running a 560 SEC as my everyday car. I’m currently on my third, assured it will be 100% reliable and run as it did when it rolled out of the showroom almost 30 years ago. His knowledge and ability to source all those unavailable parts is legendary. Ignore the surrounds, “Never judge a book by its cover!”

I found Chaz at Prestige Mercedes when I was looking for someone local to recommission my W113 280SL. I wanted to get the car running and use to bring it back to life in stages after being garaged for nearly 40 years. What I appreciated with Chaz is he could see what I wanted to achieve, didn’t try to get me to over restore the car but still gave good advice and guidance when something needed to be done. He really knows his stuff, has great attention to detail and wants things to be right. Along with the patience of a saint when it comes to working on the heater system.

Coming up to 300 miles in a few weeks of getting the car back and all is well. A testament to the quality of Mercedes-Benz engineering and Chaz.

I will be taking the car back to him for the winter to start on the body work. I would confidently recommend Chaz and Prestige Mercedes for servicing and renovations.

Chas knows his stuff, is flexible, and is a really nice bloke. You should feel confident is trusting your vintage Merc to him for any job.
