Worst experience purchasing a car!

I had researched the Grand Cherokee before visiting and had decided more or less that I wanted the car. It was just a case of choosing the right one.

When I asked the salesman to show me what the car could do ( performance wise) he informed me that it had "a pretty interior" !! I kid you not and yes I am female. The test drive was a joke.

Upon returning to the garage I investigated the car further myself and decided to purchase. The car sold itself. The process however was one issue after the other.

When I went to pick up the car I actually refused to complete the sale due to the poor quality of care given to the valet, inside and out even though I had paid for GuardX which had allegedly been applied that morning. I stuck to my guns and insisted that they rectify which in fairness they did. I eventually picked up my car and have been more than impressed with it.

I emailed the managers to share my disappointment (trust me there were numerous points raised many of which I haven't mentioned here) - not even a reply acknowledging my email. I did receive an apology 5 minutes before completing the sale from a sales manager . I am still waiting for the promised follow up call to purchase service plan and tyre/ alloy insurance.

I had promised myself that I would never set foot in this garage again but unfortunately the car's batter has failed ( worryingly ) and I have had to return. The car is still under warranty and the service provided by the partners NOT JEEP CHESTER is excellent. The communication from the service department - not too good. Hoping for a phone call in the morning to confirm my car is ready and an explanation as to why/how the battery failed. I wait with baited breath as I was promised a phone call first thing this morning- I phoned them for an update at 14:20!! . After this review I might even be treated to an even colder shoulder who knows!

I am giving this one star as I have to say the emails during the purchase period were regular and informative.

Update: car all sorted. Was asked by 3 members of staff if I was being helped whilst standing at the desk for 20 minutes, when I replied "no" nobody came out to help! Finally Britt turned up was very pleasant she called Chris ( a mechanic) to come and speak to me who was very helpful.

Visited the showroom a few weeks ago, test drove a jeep. Salesman was quite helpful until we said we wanted to think about things. I was interested in a particular model and asked to be emailed any relevant cars as he was searching their group sales online. We wanted to leave go get something to eat - it was my birthday. Then we got the cold shoulder, he actually sulked off in a mood!! They never emailed! Rubbish!!

The showroom is a good size with lots of NEW and used cars to pick. The staff are helpful, but is is sometimes hard to find one.

This place is not so easy to find and take care on the way down to t b e showroom. The read is very bad and if you don't slow down for the potholes you will damage your car.

Sales team are brilliant, show room is immaculate and choice of cars is exactly what you'd expect from a main dealer.
However, fast forward a few years and need to end the finance early to reduce your outgoings and they are utterly useless, don't return your calls then tell you they wouldn't be interested in buying back your (immaculate, fully serviced) car, they may struggle to sell it as they've got lots. Didn't mention that when I bought it. Essentially told me it was awesome when I was buying but undesirable when I want to sell it
I've had 3 new cars from them, do they care, do they want to help loyal customers... Nope
There are tons of main dealers out there, the deals are similar but the customer experience differs alot. I'd suggest trying elsewhere.

Ignored. Not approached after standing round for 20 minutes. Two other customers seated at a desk and us! All other staff in offices looking out at us but didn't even have the decency to come out and acknowledge us. Walked through next door Into Citroen, same management we where told and different story. Staff where really busy but approached us quickly, apologised for a short delay but would help shortly. Friendly and professional.

Sales staff were good but only 1 trade plate so only one car can be driven at a time. Poor stock levels and limited choice!

Arrogant snobs who seem to have dented my front wing, broken my rear light cluster, causing approx. £600 pounds of damage. Treated like a second class citizen. My jeep was not good enough for their "forecourt"

Bought a 2016 Peugeot 5008 a while back and from day 1 the engine light came on thousands of pounds later its still not right am wondering why they sell cars like this to customers. In the end I had to get rid so I am now without a car I am looking for another one but I will not go to these people again am heart broken I had to get rid of it but I couldn't trust it on long journeys please check before you buy from these people
