Sussex Auto Care collected my car from my home address to replace the clutch and duel mass flywheel. Clear with the cost. Very polite every time they contacted me. Only had the car a day. I also asked them to check the car over which they did and gave me a full report on things they found with the old girl. Great garage. Great service. Hard to find these days. Thank you

This place was alright. I had my MOT and service there. I initially booked an appointment for Saturday, but was told the slots were taken, but I could bring the car in a day earlier. After initial confusion in finding my office, the car was collected from work. Decent communication, but it would be better if the website didn't allow you to book appointments which are not available.

Booked my car in for a diagnostic and to get my clutch looked at. The team ran a full check of the car before telling me exactly what I needed doing and the cost. Had a new clutch fitted at a very reasonable price (having checked online and another 2 garages for prices). The car is running better now than it ever has in my previous 4 years of owning it. The team even informed me of what I might need doing before my next MOT which I thought was very considerate. Would definitely use again.

All positive reviews are fake. Owner / manager is aggressive and intimidating and unreasonable when asked to explain costs and inform of work needed. They did ‘phantom repairs’ that didn’t need doing and charged huge ££££. Also poorly fitted work. Beware! V dodgy too

An honest garage. Got my car ready in record time. Great service .

I've left the car here at Sussex Auto care, to repair the head gasket which they have done badly.
Initially it was only the head gasket that it needed to be repaired. However , without my consent they went ahead and supposedly went and repaired ( to my knowledge) the following:
1) 9 hrs Labour to repair head gasket
2) coolant
3) engine oil
4) oil filter
5) head bolts
6) headset
7) head skim and pressure test
8) diagnostic to diagnose head gasket 2hrs Labour
9) timing chain
10) water pump

All of this has left me with a total of £1,435.07 which my warranty will only cover £785.36 and I would have to pay the rest out of my own pocket. It is very unfair from the garage to go ahead to do the extra work which I I wasn't made aware of.
I wouldn't want anyone else to go through this horrible experience,as somebody else who would be in this position might not be able to afford these costs.
I wouldn't reccomend this garage as they are not genuine.

Would never go near this garage ever again, nor would I recommend this garage to anyone.

They have serviced our vans and cars a few times now. As well as repairs, had various issues and now found out the wrong oil is in all vehicles. None of the filters were changed on a service except oil filter. (If your lucky)

Will be taking our business elsewhere from now on. They charge for work they haven’t done and don’t replace standard service items, cowboys is an understatement.

Two vans alone today have been found with filters that are more than 2 years old, the wrong oil etc. One of our cars also had the wrong oil in and fault codes on it the where over 18 months old, even thought they have serviced it for us.

I am all up for supporting local business, but not when they rip you off and don’t do what they say they have done.

Glad to say we will be supporting another local business from now on, as they have been fair and helpful in resolving the mess we have been left with.I
