Very good company to deal with. Always a little Dubious when it’s your insurance company’s recommended repairers, but these are excellent! Pay close attention to detail followed up with great customer service! The girl on the reception ( with the tattoos ) is brilliant!

Dropped car off for repair at agreed date and time (4 months after booking). I chased progress 3 days later only to be told that they didn't have the part (bumper) and it would take another 14 - 15 days for them to arrive.
No call, no communication, they just expected me to be without my perfectly drivable car for 3 weeks! They did return my car after prompting and 4 days of pointless wait.
As I am still waiting for the actual repair, let's hope the rating can be improved by their workmanship???

My insurance company referred me to Alton Cars. They are very professional. The car was superbly repaired – you would never know there had been any damage to the back of it. The car was valeted before given back. The staff explained the works and answered all my questions.
I strongly recommend this service to everyone.

Had body work done on a big dent on my drivers side door work was completed after 5 days alton cars kept me updated on a app that tells you how long it will take to complete the work it's so helpful car looks brand new they even cleaned the car for me before returning to my home excellent service definitely recommend alton cars

I was referred by my broker, took a week to collect my car! They then went on to gaslight me about the damage saying that work needed doing that didn’t need doing. As a result they grossly over estimated the work and price and as a consequence my car has been written off.

This isn’t the first time , my partner waited a year for their repair which was grossly over estimated but they repaired the car, car value £2k repair £3,500!

Revised review .have been dealing with issues and finally got to a satisfactory level have gone to three stars as there is an avenue open to customers to get the job done properly..have been speaking with a grand fella called wed (Wes).super chap very knowledgeable about problems and great with customers .just hope that the initial management team pick their game up little and deliver a more customer friendly approach .work done is to a high standard .

Bring our car here before Christmas for rear bumper repair quote. Booked 3 Jan to check in our car and they done the work perfectly as they promised, we have our car on 6 Jan before they off. Alton did a great job, we have our car cleaned from outside and inside. Will definitely refer to our friends if anyone needs their service.

Fantastic service. Car needed repair after accident, my car was collected , courtesy car delivered and work done promptly , and my car also had a really good valet whilst there, very impressed. Everyone was helpful and friendly . Thank you
