West Tyres

Visited this little place for a puncture repair. Received honest and impartial advice about my tyre and a quick repair. It's not long opened, however, the owner has years of experience in the industry and clearly knows his stuff. It's located off of Station Road, just on the outskirts of Douglas village. They also do mobile repairs and breakdown work. Very happy with the service received. We will be using West Tyres again in future.

First class service. My transits fuel lines burst in way home from 5 sisters zoo. Had me picked up in the hour and took my van to Glasgow then dropped me home. The owner is a genuine nice guy. Cheers Tony from forza solutions

West Tyres and specifically Bruce are a great company to deal with, speaking as a fellow garage owner, the communication was brilliant and he really helped me out of a difficult situation.

Blew my tyre on a plot hole yesterday in Scotland, in the middle of nowhere (Sanquhar). Rang multiple companies with no luck at all however Bruce from West Tyres sorted us out straight away. Was with us in no time and got the tyre sorted straight away! Such a nice guy and didn’t try to rip us off like other companies either, decent price all in! Thanks Bruce.. hopefully we won’t need you again but if we do when in Scotland we know who to call! Thanks again - Liv :)

Would highly recommend. Fantastic service and lovely genuine person to deal with. Goes above and beyond your expectations. Used through the night, service was extremely quick and we weren't left waiting. Pricing was very reasonable for quality of service. Thought we were going to spend a night stuck at the roadside on a bad road but West Tyres ensured we got home safe and the man even followed until we were onto a main road. Thank you so much for being a genuinely lovely person and running a quick and efficient service.

Bruce came out to us rather quickly to change the tyre which took no time at all and we.managed to get back on the road rather quickly . Would highly recommend.

Highly recommended! These guys were incredibly helpful. We were stranded in a small village whilst returning from holiday and had been let down badly by the RAC. I called West Tyres and was amazed at the speed of the service. They were on site in less than an hour - tyre fitted and free to continue our journey within 30 minutes! Friendly helpful people, and superb value. Thanks again!

We got a puncture when travelling home on the M74 near leamahgow, stranded with my 8 month pregnant fiancé in the dark. Called my breakdown cover and was told it would be a 7 hour wait!!!

Fortunately we managed to find West Tyres who were there in 30 minuets, really friendly both on the phone and when he arrived like our knight in high vis! New tyre on and away within 10 minuets. Despite living in Glasgow I’ll be making the effort to use West Tyres in future for any work and recommending them to everyone.
