I started using A&A on a recommendation, and I always think an inexpensive MOT where your car passes without need for further work is a sign of honesty. I’ve had that experience twice, and also had services and work done a couple of times when the ageing car developed issues. Always get a phone call with options and clear pricing. Recently bought a used car from A&A, and very happy with it.

Phil managed to fit us in a short notice. They diagnosed the issue quick and provide a solution. I would recommend using this garage.
Thanks guys

In November 2019 my Peugeot 3008 broke down, was recovered and went to A&A car service centre where it was diagnosed as a fault with a couple of fuel injectors. The owner recommended I had all four replaced at a cost of £1,143. After the work had apparently been done and I collected it it broke down a further four times, with the same issue, as the injectors kept coming loose. It clearly hasn’t been repaired properly. This was all before 14/1/2020. Since then we have had a continuous smell of fumes coming into the vehicle and a week ago a proper mechanic advised me that the injectors still weren’t fitted properly, hence the smell. I have now got rid of the car but will certainly Never go anywhere near A&A car service centre again. If it wasn’t for the current Covid situation preventing normal court services I would take him through the small claims court. Avoid this garage at all costs, there are better in the area. I only awarded one star as you can’t comment with none.

An old fashioned garage that do know what they are about at what I think is a fair price.

Avoid this cowboy garage !!

I took my car here after recently buying it from my grandfather as there was knocking sound coming from my nearside front wheel .
When I took the car in, I asked if they could have a look for any other problems on the vehicle.
I picked the car up later that day and was told the problem was the top mount and they fixed it and put new rear brake pads on.
But they explained the car is now making a squelching sound from the offside front due to them greasing the mount .
The next day the car was still making the knocking sound from the nearside front and had become worse the squelching sound continued and now I could hear a grinding sound when braking .
I phoned the garage and they said “ it’ll take a few days for the grease to wear in and the sound will go , bring the car in and we’ll have a look at the knocking again .
So I did that .
Picked the car up again , they said the knocking sound was the nearside ball joint and they fixed it (another added cost) , nothing else was said About anything else .

A few days had gone by now and the knocking was continuing , the squelching was continuing and the same for the grinding sound when braking .

I’ve taken the car to another garage and they’ve told me , they’ve not fixed the knocking correctly “bosh job “
The squelching is not from any grease as there nothing Been greased , the problem is the shock absorber which is new by the looks of it (theres not been a new shock absorber fixed in over 6 years as it’s family owned vehicle) so either they have taken my shock absorber off and replaced it with another faulty one .
the grinding sound when braking is because both of the rear discs are totally corroded and they’ve put new pads over damaged discs , now the disc weren’t damaged before but now out of no where I have very damaged and heavily corroded discs . That have very very old rust on them like they haven’t been used in years as there’s no wear on them at all , hence now the grinding sound .

They are nothing but lairs and scam artists

STAY AWAY

MOT and service have been done with A&A for the last 15 (at least) years. No reason to go elsewhere with the service and prices provided.
