Not used myself but my grandparents have used this garage since it first opened. since the son has taken over he's turned it into a con shop. has no loyalty towards my grandparents when he tried to charge over £200 when another garage was wanting £100 there's a few people mentioning his high prices. don't bother going as you'll pay more money with him than elsewhere for the same job

Have used Maldwyns for thirty years since we moved to the area so that should tell you all you need to know. Maldwyn and Wynn have always gone above and beyond to get the car back on the road ASAP which when I was working was very important. Sensible prices, high standard of workmanship and friendly staff who are happy to explain and advise if necessary.

When I took on my business Equus Private Hire over 6 years ago one of the best decisions I made was to have all my motoring needs taken care of by Wyn & his team. It’s crucial my vehicle is tip top condition as I drive approx K50 miles a year taking customers to and from UK airports and locations far and wide. My first car VW Passat on K170 miles and still running well by & owned by a family member, my 2nd car Skoda Superb on K240 miles and runs perfect. My latest Silver Skoda Superb also being meticulously serviced and maintained by Wyn & team. They have kept up to date with moving times by investing in the latest diagnostics and training on both diagnostics and solutions using genuine manufacturers parts. Wyn has gone over & above for me, one occasion sorting out a problem until 8pm on a Friday evening enabling me not having to use back up for a 0300hrs airport run the following morning. I feel I can always ask for assistance when needed which is a massive peace of mind for someone in my line of business. Thanks again, Russ

I cannot recommend Maldwyn Williams highly enough. I had a problem with a Hybrid Prius. Most garages do not have the knowledge of Hybrid technology and the local Toyota Garage were not very reassuring when I discussed the nature of the fault. I approached Maldwyn and was immediately reassured by his enthusiasm and logical approach. The fault was complex triggering warning lights and was caused by more than one fault. Maldwyn gradually resolved the issues and the vehicle has been fine since. The costs were very reasonable. I will not hesitate to utilise there services again whether for Hybrid technology or not. Garages like this are hard to come by.

I have used Maldwen Williams garage for my business and private vehicles for over 10 years.
This ranges from tyres to full diagnostic and repair. I can say with honesty that I have always received a 5 star service at a very reasonable cost. My work fleet is mainly vans and my personal cars have ranged from BMW to Range Rover. All treated with care and attention to detail. Main dealer service without the silly price tag.

Great lads. Re map of an L200. Dropped off in the morning ready same day. Drives like a new car, more power better mpg and more responsive. Definitely have a new map put on my next one

We have been using the friendly efficient family firm of Maldwyn Williams for a number of years now. They have always been very helpful and able to assist straight away when we have emergencies. We highly recommend them.

Tried to charge me £750 for the following:

1) Diagnose why engine was overheating
2) Supply and fit thermostat
3) Supply and fit coolant control housing
4) Carry out wiring repair to control solenoid

When I questioned why the figure was so high (he initially quoted £435 to do 1,2 and 3) he offered to bump the price down to £655. If the job actually cost £750, why would you accept £655? Because £750 was the price you made up to make more money.

He had my vehicle for two weeks, to do the above jobs. In that time, he lent me a vehicle which broke down on the A55, after 20miles of driving.

Final nail in the coffin, he said I should bring my van back in next week, for them to put some Steel Seal in it, as he was concerned the head gasket might be going. Steel Seal can be bought from Halfords, and the instructions on how to use it are printed on the back. Who needs a garage for that?

Only positive were the two women in reception, whose names I’ve sadly forgotten. They were lovely throughout the whole process
