Morton Motors

I have booked my car for a handbrake adjustment and everything was fine. Understandably Morton Motors could not tell me what the issue was over the phone. I sought out an independent advice and quick assessment, which suggested that the handbrake was too tightly adjusted and needed some fine-tuning. I called Morton Motors to inform them that I had someone to have a look at it to help them out to clarify the quote and time needed. When I showed up for my booking they told me that they have taken somebody else in and that they assumed that I had it resolved even though I never actually cancelled. As soon as I objected to that and demanded them to fulfill the booking they became aggressive and rude and told me that I should take it elsewhere that they would not work on my car. I found their behavior utterly unprofessional and verging on appalling. One would expect them to be attentive, admit their mistake and an urgency to rectify it but I have seen none of that.

I had issues with smoke from exhaust. I suspected EGR. Morton Motors decided it was a faulty sensor. They performed the work and charged me £187.00 for the job that turned out to be waste of time. They never corrected the issue and conned me for £187 and then wanted further £300 to replace EGR. Very unprofessional and rude.

Regularly used this garage however when they services one of our vehicles they did not bleed the brake system correctly which lead to the clutch failing! They diagnosed work to repair the issue to the value of £732! It cost us £30 to have the vehicle repaired!!!!!

Excellent garage, had two MOTs this year, found why my car had been making a knocking noise for several years and I hadn't mentioned it, fixed this dangerous problem without charge, highly recommended 😀
On the 20th January 2020 the clutch went on my Transit, AA delivered van at Moreton motors at 3am in the morning, had it back fixed on morning of the 23rd January and it pulls like a train now, very pleased, thank you 😊

Moreton motors always help me out when I require it, I can't fault the work and always come away thinking that they are good value for money. It's a real benefit having a garage I can trust on the doorstep of my place of employment.

Have used the garage for several years for different cars, with the same result.. Steve and the team have always given good service and full explanation of wha needs to be done and why. I dont see any reason to spend for factory/dealer servicing when these gutys can do such a good job. Recommended.

All work vehicles have service/MOTs at Morton's, as well as our personal vehicle. Excellent customer service, often accommodating our needs at short notice. Trustworthy and good value for money.
