Cardiff Independent Volkswagen Service (CIVS)

I've had many vehicles (all german) and have been to many 'specialists' but CIVS is by far the most customer centric and honest ive been to. They know their stuff and is way ahead of the competition including VW itself..Had my last few MOT'S there and most recently had full service, cam , pump and belts change on my T6 and all at a very reasonable price.. found my go to garage at last!!

Highly recommend. After getting an eye watering quote from a main dealer for a new Cambelt, CIVS did the job for a fraction of the price using genuine parts. Won’t be using a dealer again! Many thanks.

The owner Richard is an awesome, genuine, caring honest guy , the mechanics he has working for him are exactly the same and all are amazing at their jobs…. I own an s3 and am really cautions on where my vehicle has the work done as I’m so so fussy on who works on it! I feel completely comfortable leaving my car with the boys and I know my car is in the best hands In South Wales when it’s with civs I cannot stress enough how good they are and how honest and the prices are excellent….. especially for the service you get ….. I know my car has been done to the highest standard you can expect! If I need work done on my car I’ll wait until they can fit me in even that’s means me not driving my pride and joy for a while . It’s a pleasure to know it’s in the best hands possible….. I will never use another garage again and will recommend these guys to everyone!! Thank you so so much richard and your boys !

If you have a VW group car, take it here. Very knowledgeable and friendly mechanics, always go the extra mile and prices are very reasonable. Been taking my Golf here for 5 years and have 0 complaints 👍

Richard was amazing at knowing what was needed and how long it would take. We had to have a heater Matrix changed and also a Cam Belt. He fitted us in straight after the Christmas/New Year holiday.
The car was finished exactly when he said it would be. They are amazing to deal with and would certainly use them for everything in future for our VW Golf.
They are also considerably cheaper than the local VW dealer although they still use VW parts for the repairs!! For a good repair, done on time with pleasant people who know what they are doing this is certainly the place to go.
