Letchworth Garden City Car Wash

Not impressed I thought I'd give it a go as it always seems busy when I drive past. I decided to go for a mini valet at £20 which I thought was a little steep but I was committed as the only time you see the prices is when your at the soap guys point but hey if they do a good job then its probably worth it. Anyway told the guy I wanted a mini valet he then said that it was £25 I said about the sign but he said something about hot wax and this is the price so I said OK, they blitzed the car in 5 mins and moved me on to the vacuum/polish section which again took no more than 5 mins. So for no more than about 10 mins they fleeced me for £25, at the end of the day it was clean but there was areas that were missed with the hoovering, polishing and watermarks on the body work, I've had better jobs for £10 less don't think I will be returning and can only advise others to do the same.

Have used this car wash a few times before and always had great quality service in the past... unfortunately not today! Pulled in and was told it would cost £25 to wash the inside and outside of my car - last time i was only charged £12 but i thought this was a while a go and they always do a good job so I wouldn't argue. I now wish i hadn't bothered... there are smears and water marks both inside and outside of the car, dust and dirt still around the edges of the foot-wells and control panels, marks on the seat and dirty rags left inside the car! I wish i had checked more closely before i left!! The worst, most expensive car wash experience i have ever had, i wont be going back!

Horrible. They tried to change the price mid job from £25 to £35 because the car was dirty inside. If they had said 35 when I asked that would be OK but to show that arrogant attitude and complaining about staff shortages etc was ridiculous. I paid for just the outside wash and went somewhere else. Wont be going back there again.

Both myself and my girlfriend use this place and usually have a good experience. Today was awful. I just purchased a car and decided to go for the £25 wash. Which should’ve been inside and out. They couldn’t wait to finish…. I had to call them back to clean the arm rest which took two minutes. Inside of the side door holders were not touched. All the door are smeared and streaky and the glass is not cleaned correctly. Very disappointed and we will not be going there which is a shame as my girlfriend had hers cleaned on Sunday and it was amazing. Maybe a supervisor was absent today!!

Always go here, cheap cheerful quick and get the job done. I only have a basic in and out clean and it's by no means perfect but always clean. Waves in tesco car park tried to charge me 60 pound for the job and said the car was and I quote TOO DIRTY. I mean of course its dirty but its a family 4x4 I thought their job was to clean cars?!

I’ve been to this car wash twice and was quite pleased especially because they take card as not many people carry cash now! The first time I took our car i was charged £10 for a medium car for the outside to be washed and I was really pleased.
When visiting again for a mini valet they charged me for a large car… which on the board says 4x4s, 7 seaters and vans! None of which is our 5 seater Peugeot! On top of that the card machine was broken so I had to leave my car and walk to a store to get cash back! I didn’t have the option to leave as once you drive in your blocked from both angles! When I said this to the guys they simply shrugged…
They did an ok job but I wouldn’t go again out of principle!

Expensive for the level of service provided. They missed cleaning two or three areas which was annoying both for them doing a less than thorough job, and me but properly checking things over before I drove away!

Always a very good job, prices have gone up but still fair for a good clean car
