Waves Car Wash (Tesco Sandhurst Extra)

My girlfriend and I have used this car wash for a number of years but won’t be using anymore. Standards have dropped significantly and the place is now considerably overpriced compared to other places which provide more attention to cleaning (£15 wash&hoover for a Polo). We had both cars washed yesterday and found on return home that inside one of the boots was saturated in water. Not happy!

Very expensive and they did not even vacuum the interior/foot-well after paying 30 pounds for a BronzePlus service. The cheapest wash where your SUV gets vacuumed is 35 quid!

They need to have a basic wash+vaccum service.

I have used waves at other Tesco’s before so assumed I would be in good hands here, but that was not the case! After spending £30 for them to take 40 mins to do my car inside and out, I was left very disappointed and won’t be using them again! There was bird poo and dead fly marks left all over my car and to be honest the inside wasn’t very dirty so I’m not even sure if they touched it. There is a clear lack of attention to detail here and a very blasé attitude! They weren’t even busy yesterday so that’s why I’m confused that they didn’t do a good job!

The service here is slick and professional. The standard was okay except for the wheels which they just jet wash, no brushing, so as they dried were streaky with brake dust.

Complete rip off, was told £13 to wash and dry the car. Used to pay £5 in London then he tried to charge me £30 at the end and accused me of choosing to have the inside cleaned when I didnt. Would never go back.

Very much professional and very nice place to get car cleaned

I paid £35 plus £10 and they done a very poor job for that sort of money. The guys who used to be here were much better, the car used to smell clean and look clean! Not now there was polish left on the paint work and bumpers, dirty rag marks, the vacuuming was terrible and the service was rude. Plus I got charged for using my card £5.70.so in total this bad experience cost me £50.70. Do not use them. Total rip off.

Have used their service many times. The team are hardworking and courteous and always do a good job - and at a very fair price. Very convenient to have your car washed while you shop.
