Pro Hand Car Wash

Was upsold a £40.00 valet on 30/05. When getting home, I could see that the boot had not been hoovered, there were stains where the car mats had not been cleaned. I was told that the interior would be polished and no polish had been used, dusted only as there were marks still on the dash and around the handbrake.

Took the car back on 01/05 and the guys all crowded round, telling me aggressively that the car had been cleaned. Told me that they could not see the sauce that remained on the car mats and that the sand and dirt in the boot “couldn’t be hoovered”.

Laughed in my face and were aggressive when I asked for a refund and chucked a receipt at me and told me to call the owner. The owner was equally as dismissive and told me that they “don’t do refunds”.

A poor name to the trade and will not be using again.

Come to these guys every time, run by Donovan and his brother.always had excellent service and friendly welcome including coffee. Their prices are excellent and they are probably the best in this area. Never had a problem. Once left my business attaché case by the side of car and they were honest enough to bring it back into the office and keep it safe for me. Top marks to these two Kurdish brothers for their outstanding work !

I have been using Pro Hand car wash weekly for around 5 years and always a good experience Some cars I take can be very bad and they are always happy to get stuck in and get the car looking it’s best. They always have great staff levels so even when they are busy you don’t have to wait too long. Several choices of valet available from a quick clean to seats and carpets out for a full showroom detail. Highly recommend.

For 25 quid my car has still lots of sand inside ,very poor cleaning service . Staff friendly but the job they making is awful. Sorry but its true for 25 quid it could be more professional and car supposed to be clean and nice . But inside and out after its not good at all after their service

Guys did a great job again, they just get into the places even the best auto car washes don't, you pay more but you get more! Your choice!

Honestly I haven't vacuumed my car in over a year, I've booked it in, asked for a full service, and the car looks like the day I bought it from a garage!! It's amazing, thanks so much. And I think the price is reasonable as well, very cost effective. Thanks guys, I've got a date tomorrow and I hope she'll appreciate the clean car :)

Rip off merchants - absolutely appalled by my experience.
Wanted my car cleaned in and out, always having been £30 until now. I turned up and the ‘manager’ looks inside my car and says, ‘It’s really bad, really dirty, will be £50’. I’m a 5’3 female and was on my own and felt very pressured into agreeing, plus also shamed about my car’s condition. It wasn’t even that bad - I use seat covers so it was just sandy with some dog hair in the foot wells.
While they were cleaning I double checked their prices and nowhere does it say additional charge for a dirty car (it’s a car wash, are they expecting clean cars to turn up?).
I plucked up the courage to confront them, telling them it was outrageous and they spent no more time cleaning than they ever had done. The ‘manager’ kept saying ‘read the board, read the board’ and when I challenged him to indicate exactly where it mentioned additional charges, he backed down. I ended up paying the £30 but only because I kicked off and stood my ground.
I reckon they thought small girl, on her own, won’t know what she’s talking about or challenge us and thought they’d make a bit of quick cash. Very pleased I stood up for myself.
I’ve been going here for years, always great service and reasonable prices so I can only assume from my experience and the recent reviews that it’s changed hands.
DO NOT go here. Very distressing experience all round.

Absolute disgrace: paid for full clean of inside and it was returned in same state I left it in/worse (they got pet hair in places the previous owners dog couldn’t even have got to) Was paying for them to use professional cleaning equipment to get to harder to reach areas and they gave a quick vacuum of the floor in the back which would have taken max 2 mins and didn’t get any or the harder to reach areas or the seats or clean any of the plastic! Also kept me waiting over an hour for the privilege … should have complained more but was already running late thanks to them and had stupidly already paid. It was even worse than the pics (as friend already started re-cleaning when I took them) they literally vacuumed up a few bits of polystyrene from the floor in the back and nothing else! Charged as people carrier even though only 3 seats in and they didn’t even clean them! (Have more pics but won’t upload). Wanted it cleaned before loading for trip and now no time 😡😡😡
