Just tried to charge me £30 for cleaning a Ford Fiesta - that’s worth more than the car is! Said because it was “extra dirty” he would have to charge more, do people get clean cars cleaned? I asked if he made his prices up as he went along and he said yes - will never go back

Paid £23 for a wash and clean inside… found out later that I’d been overcharged as the £23 rate was for large vehicles (“volume 3”) and I should have been charged only £20 as I have a very small car.

Also they didn’t dry it off enough…. Saw this at my next stop. Won’t use again.

I have a medium sized car and the guy was trying to quote me £23 for inside and out. The car was dirty post wash. £12 for a dirty car! The guy is just a chancer and I won't be going again. I had to rewash the areas he didn't do.

Terrible! Absolutely terrible!

Not clearly signposted where you should go, people who turned up after us seemed to get served before us. They are all miserable and the guy on the wash side hit our car with the hose whilst washing another car. I heard the impact and looked around to see him looking to see if we had noticed! I shouted over to him but he ignored me.
They very quickly hosed it off and wiped it down a bit but never dried off the little places where the water collects (wing mirrors, under the bonnet lip, etc) so it was streaky and watermarked.

The worst part was that I have brand new 20" open spoked wheels and the insides were very visibly filthy still. I asked the guy to wipe the dirty marks and he asked me how to do it and he had a mega chip on his shoulder. He walked off shaking his head and muttering to himself. He told me he "couldn't get his hand in" and he said it would "take him all day" then he said "I want £2 - £3 extra for this!". I've uploaded a picture of my open spoke wheels so you can see just how much of a mountain this guy had to climb 🙄. Can't imagine how he'd clean them properly.

Can you imagine taking your car to the car wash and someone turning up and actually wanting to drive away with a clean car minus the visible dirt, shocker!

I'll never come back in a million years, Tesco's dosent have a car wash as far as I'm concerned.

What a Joke!

Excellent clean inside and out. Lots of algae had built up over the winter months. The guys did a thorough job. The interior was in a mess with the seats laid down with plenty of bits and bobs inside. They tidied it all up and cleaned all the interior, everything was shiny. They even took my trolley from me to save me the walk back to the trolley bays. Great service.

The guys are good on what they do ! In addition, the location at TESCO Extra Highwoods Colchester is extremely useful, having time to shop while the car is washed.
