Great experience with them, the wait was not long and they thoroughly cleaned the outside and the inside of the car. Can not fault them at all, I would definitely come here again - decent price too, especially in London.

Extremely poor experience at this location on June 5th, 2021. I brought my car (White E92 M3 BMW) for a clean and polish. After the car was cleaned, the guy drove the car into the pavement and broke not only the front splitter but also scratched the bumper.

Although the wash and vaccum was good, they definitely do not know how to apply polish and buff based on the amounts of liquid that was being applied.

Definitely will not be taking my car there.

They did an amazing job of cleaning my car. It was covered in tree sap which I was worried wouldn’t come off, but they made it look brand new again. Very happy with the service and will definitely come back every time the car needs cleaning. Thank you!

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a car wash. I will not be returning, which is a shame because they are only 5 minutes away from me. To begin with, the guy was too preoccupied with his phone to actually wash the car, frequently stopping. He did not remove all of the soap from the car. Second, the car was not properly cleaned inside, leaving a lot of mess, water marks, and giving the car an odd smell by spraying something inside. They did not properly clean the car, leaving it with numerous marks on the body and numerous water marks on the windows. When I called to inquire about the cost of the clean, I was quoted £20 but charged £25.

Lux brothers car wash not only offers a great car washing service but also a fantastic personal treatment towards their customers. Two employees washing my car approached me in a friendly and kind manner asking was i fully satisfied with the service and gave me a good price on thoroughly cleaning my car.

Highly recommend!!! The service was fantastic and the staff all have an attention to detail. It is the cleanest my car has been since I bought it, looks brand new inside and out. Great value too!

Bad experience with a very aggressive person today who tried to charge even more than the £20 listed price clearly shown on the wall board for a 4x4 and started yelling when I politely questioned it. He just kept shouting and yelling, at one point even closing the shutter to stop me leaving.

The reason? Apparently because my 4x4 has an extra 2 seats (!), which were folded down, I would add. Well, so does the Land Rover Discovery in their own 4x4 picture!

If you want to charge a different price, maybe change the advertised prices on the board instead of shouting at and insulting your customers.

I’ve been coming to this local car wash for over 5 years. Previously had relatively good experiences for the price and they’ve generally been careful not to scratch my cars (the only reason I’ve given 2 stars instead of 1).

However, prices have been increasing significantly and today’s shouting experience was very unpleasant and unacceptable. I will not be coming back. Also I noticed they started using rubber blades to get water off the car instead of towels. Not good if you look after your car and want a scratch-free wash, despite them claiming it’s a ‘non scratch’ wash on the big board.

Disappointing.

EDIT - thank you for the reply. Regarding ‘gardening or building’ materials, this was not the issue and there were none. The whole issue was about charging more than the board price for a 4x4 with 7 seats. There were a few items in the back seats that I moved myself to the boot - one large bag and a few soft balls (like a football size), although I recall the other staff were happy to help move one or two balls also. I don’t think you should be charging more for moving two footballs to the boot, but it was not what the older man was shouting about anyway.
