Jani's Hand Car Wash

Shockingly bad standard of work and ridiculously over priced. It’s a factory line, the staff ignore requests. Cloths used on the floor are the same used all over the the interior, and as soon as it dries out the mud and dirt shows up again like it’s never been cleaned. There is zero effort to do a thorough job, just makes it look temporarily brighter. And this is still the case after you ask them to redo it. Areas were skipped even when paying for a ‘full clean’. I’ve not been impressed with there standard of work for a while, but it seems recently (and since a price hike!) they’ve plummeted to new levels of poor service.

Really disappointed, £12 and top half washed but bottom half looks like its not been washed. Only realised when got home. Rewashed it myself. If you go to this car wash get out and inspect before you leave!

This used to be the very best car wash for miles around, but standards have gone down while prices have gone up! I took my car for mid-price wash and vacuum. I paid the £28 and drove home. When I got home I went to get something out the glove box from the passenger side and there was still mud on the passenger door seal. My phone holder had been knocked off the windscreen (it has a suction cup). I have since cleaned it myself.

To their good points they are quick, courteous and professional. They were busy when I went, so the must still be popular.

However, this will be my last visit. Sadly.

So delighted with the care and attention to detail. I took my car in which I inherited, having been static for 5 months. The interior was filthy and things had obviously been spilled inside quite some time ago. The service was above and beyond and the staff were very respectful. Definitely recommend

Be careful anyone considering going to Jani’s hand car wash. I had heard reports that it was good and they did not scratch the paintwork, but now have found a long scratch down the side that was not there before.
Also, as I drive a van, one person cleaning the windscreen hauled herself up to stand on the tyre using the wing mirror. I had to ask her not to do so as I did not want them to be damaged or pulled off.
They also did not clean the roof. When I enquired why they had not done so, I was rudely told that ‘everyone knows we don’t clean the roof’ - I had assumed they might use a step ladder. I asked why they advertised as cleaning vans, when they did not do the job properly. There was no answer to this other than ‘everyone knows’. I was then accused of being rude myself, just for asking, when I was not at all.
Also - not even washed properly - some areas had not been washed at all, and were still muddy!
So unless you want to risk having just 3/4 of the job done, actual damage, and potential worse damage - avoid.

Jani’s car wash was recommended to me and I am so glad I tried it. My car has never looked so clean and shiny since I bought it. The job was done incredibly quickly and thoroughly.

Lovley staff, wash inside and out ready less then 10 minutes, you can use card or cash. You have a space to sit down. Brilliant! Definitely coming back

They certainly get the car clean and looking great but beware the pre-wash spray they use on the wheels, it corroded the alloys and surfaces of the brake fittings on my car.
