The Car Wash Company Cardiff (St David's Dewi Sant Shopping Centre)

Not very good at all.
Bought top of range Diamond clean.

Glass streaky with original grime just pushed around.

Instruments/controls just wiped leaving streaks dashboard areas left dusty. Cup holders and trays left dirty.

Wheels left dirty

Barely vacuumed interior.

A really bad detailing for £55.

Don’t bother going here the price is ok but a lot for a bad wash a bad vacuuming and a quick wipe down.

I was asked by the ‘owner’ to email them to the address given in response to this review. I did, twice, a week later still no response.
Not entirely unexpected.

'Owner' eventually contacted me a few weeks later - promised a refund and a free clean - but a week later nothing. An empty promise perhaps.

Extremely poor service. There were a number of different issues. I was told my car would be ready in 2 hours but when I returned 2 and a half hours later it wasn't finished. I then had to point out a number of large areas on the car where the polish had not been removed. As well as this when I opened my door there was still rubbish which hadn't been removed as part of the service I paid for (platinum). I then noticed that my rear seat, which I keep folded down, had been removed completely! It was just left on the other rear seat so I then had to reassemble my rear seats. Upon driving away it became clear that some kind of polish had been used on the pedals as my foot nearly slipped off the clutch as I pulled away. Finally when I drove out into the sun it was obvious that no attempt had been made to clean the inside of the windscreen which was one of the main reasons I took it in. As this is a paid car park I was not willing to drive back in and pay for another ticket to speak to the men at the time. I paid nearly £30 for this service which was completely inadequate.

Edit: I have since received an email offering a full refund and free wash. While the customer service side seems great and very helpful I won't be using the free wash voucher as I don't want to take my car back here.

I have had amazing experience with this business. Very pleasant with myself and my car looked amazing and sparkling when it left. Thank you for making me vehicle looking spotless and shining when I left. Fantastic job from the all of you👏🏽 Amazing communication from all!

I requested the diamond clean and the extra leather seat clean. It was a total waste of time and money.
My seat hadn't been touch there was still crumbs and bits on the seats. I dont think he cleaned my car for more than 20 mins

I will not be going back there and I dont recommend anyone else going there

I have never had to deal with such rude men before! The car is clean but not sparkling I’d give it 3 stars. They refused to let us have the gold package and made us pay for the one service up from gold as it was ‘dirty’ which is the point of needing a car cleaned surely? It had some sawdust in the boot from moving some things to the tip but it was far from dirty!

They said on return cash only but I pointed to the sign and card machine so he huffed, stopped watching sky news on his phone and reluctantly went to fetch the card machine all the time speaking in a language I couldn’t understand to his mate.

Absolutely shocking. If it was my business and they were representing my brand I’d be telling them to pack up and leave.

this is the 2nd time we've had our cube cleaned by this company and I am not disappointed. our car was absolutely filthy due to it being at the mechanics and now its sparkling, theu were really careful around my damaged paint and I can now say my car is blue and not grey. thank you so much

NEW and IMPROVED ownership!

I am SO IMPRESSED and HAPPY that I tried The Car Wash Company. From previous reviews I was worried. But when I went I spoke to the owner and he explained the he had taken over the company a few months ago and now was trying to fix the past bad reputation it’s gotten!

Don’t let the old reviews put you off! Car Wash Company is NEW and IMPROVED! And super convenient when St David’s parking is full and you can go shop!

Worst car wash I have ever used! Almost £40, and still crumbs left on the back seats, dirt and mud on the floor. Too dark inside St David’s 2 to me to fully see, really annoyed that I paid for this.
