Great little shop and prices are very good, shop assistant is very helpful and the fitters always do a good job and quickly too, I always use this shop to replace my bathroom flooring every couple of years.

We had our carpet fitted a couple of weeks ago. Upon fitting, my husband realised that the carpet joiner strips didn't look right.
When we ordered, we told the sales assistant in store that the other floor is vinyl click (laminate). She didn't question this, so we assumed she knew what vinyl click flooring was. The carpet joiner strips that they've fitted are for lino flooring and doesn't leave enough of a gap for the vinyl click flooring.
The carpet fitter said while he was here that he would've fitted the correct ones, but he didn't have them in the van.
Instead of sorting the issue out, Carpet News are now refusing to help and have said we can go and collect the strips from them to fit ourselves.
We ordered the correct items and have paid for the fitting of these items.
AVOID! Shocking customer service!

Messed up taking my order and now trying to blame me claiming I said something I didn’t, while pretending the incorrect item they’ve fitted is somehow the right one.

Excellent business with the personal touch. Large choice, reasonable prices. Rose is extremely helpful and patient when it comes to choosing from the many samples and qualities they have on display. Carpet fitters quick and professional. Very happy to recommend with great customer service.
