Discount Carpets

I had never used this firm before, but was delighted with the friendliness and excellent service I received from Chris. He helped me choose some reasonably priced carpet, and I was very happy with the fitting and the price.
Also they moved furniture without making a fuss, and took away all the old carpet, where in the past some firms have left it behind.
Would highly recommend.

Chris and Mark were really excellent at advising on different carpets. They have recently taken over this business and I only have praise for their customer service.
The fitter who came out was so helpful to us and really cared.
Highly recommend and don't be put off by negative reviews left in previous years as it's under completely different management now.

This is a review for the customer service inside the shop. Mark was very helpful and cooperative regarding some concerns and questions about my carpet fitting. This is my second time purchasing carpet from this shop, because of my experience recently I will be again returning in the furture.

Fitter (Dave) hung up on me when I called to complain about the job. I will have to get someone else in to salvage it. I will be contacting trading standards. I have photos but Google won’t let me upload. It’s a mess which will be expensive to rectify. Rude, unprofessional and very poor outcome. Beware.

Purchased a stair carpet and fitting. Very easy, all delivered and fitted to agreed time (within about a week of ordering) and price.

I was recommended to this company by a good friend. I contacted Mark who came over and measured everything. He then invited me to go to the shop to choose a carpet I liked. From beginning to end everything went smoothly. Mark even arranged to do 2 rooms at a time as I could not empty the rooms all in one go. Amazing fitter also called Mark - great guy and very professional. Cannot fault Discount Carpets at all. Would definately recommend to use them. Cheers guys, Thankyou so much. 👍

If you like awful service this is your place. The overly tanned man in the shop is one of the rudest people you’ll ever come across. Acts like it’s a burden for you to visit the store & ask him any questions. The day my carpets were being fitted they brought the wrong colour and asked if I wanted it instead. Of course I didn’t so I had to wait for the one I actually orderd. I can’t really fault the fitters and the job though. I just really hated having to deal with them. Job done but not a pleasant taste left in my mouth.
