The price seemed right and the shop staff were friendly, however when they came to fit the carpet their service was very poor.

Firstly, we had ordered (and paid for) new underlay to go with the new carpet, but they arrived to fit the carpet they didn't bring any underlay with them. They then claimed that we had not ordered any, despite it being clearly shown on the invoice.

Upon lifting the old carpet they advised that new underlay wouldn't be needed anyway (luckily for them!), but they then became very obstructive when we wanted a refund for the new underlay that we had already paid for...

When they tried to lay the new carpet, it was apparent they had cut it to the wrong size. They blamed us for this and claimed that our measurements were incorrect but that was clearly not the case. They managed to lay it in the end but the quality of fit around the door thresholds was really poor. We wanted to give a local firm our business, but we were left really disappointed and would never consider using them again.
