Can’t rate this company highly enough. From my initial contact with them they were friendly, professional and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Very competitive price too. The horses were impeccably turned out and I think I made a beautiful entrance to my wedding if I do say so myself! Horses have been a huge part of my life since being a little girl and it was always my dream to have a horse and carriage at my wedding, The Ostler certainly lived up to my expectations and dreams, It was just perfect so thank you so much. Although it’s been a while since we used the services of ‘The Ostler’ the memories will be with us forever!!!
Where do I even start?
I booked the ‘The Ostler’ for my wife as a surprise. My wife was expecting a muscle car with lots of ‘horse power’, well what better way than traditional ‘horse power’. The Ostlers communication was second to none, they kept in touch with me from start to finish, updated me on all the details I needed to know, any changes that took place and also advised me on legalities with regards to the horses that you wouldn’t even think about. The Horse and carriage arrived on time, along with just what we ordered, 2 stunning white horses, dressed beautifully inline with our colour scheme, with 2 gentleman that treated my wife and mother-in-law with respect, dignity and old fashioned traditional manners. My wife was ecstatic, she was super excited and loved the experience. (Phew 😅). The Horse and carriage delivered the bride to her destination on time. (Just like Cinderella 👠)
The Horses and staff waited patiently for our ceremony to conclude and then took us to a safe location to transfer to a car due to the distance of our reception venue.
I’ve never experienced a horse and carriage but this was just amazing!!!
I can’t recommend ‘The Ostler’ enough. The price is very reasonable for the service provided. The horses are beautiful and well behaved. The 2 gentleman are fantastic and traditional, which are hard to come by nowadays.
We would love to use you again in future to get some photos that we never got on the day.

The service from start to finish was brilliant. The booking process was simple and fuss free with excellent customer service. The Ostler even matched the horse and carriage to my wedding day theme. Travelling to my wedding venue in the carriage was truly magical. I would 100% recommend! Staff on the day were super friendly and really good with the kids too. Thank you for being part of my big day!

I booked a surprise horse drawn pumpkin carriage for my daughters year 6 prom from The Ostler.. Booking was easy and the staff were helpful and kind.
They allowed time for photographs at home and at the prom with patience as other children also wanted to see.
The horses were very calm and just beautiful to look at along with the carriage decorated in the chosen colour theme. Amy and coachman(unknown name) were very pristine, which represented the company very well of high standards and great service, Amy opened the door at every point my daughter was to get out and help her as much as she could and interacted very friendly.
It was a real head turner as she was driven to her prom and she felt like a real princess for the day.
Overall, excellent service from start to finish and i could not recommend The Ostler enought as it made my daughters day and one she will never forget.

The Ostler were amazing from start to finish and provided a first class experience for our wedding day. It was a special moment for me and my husband to ride in the Horse & Carriage from the church back to the venue and have those precious moments together. The carriage itself was stunning and the staff on the day lovely. They arrived punctual, even early to pick me and my dad, bridesmaids up and brought so much character to our day. I felt like a true princess in a period drama. I would highly recommend booking as travel for your wedding day. You won’t regret it!

The Ostler provided an amazing horse and carriage for our wedding this August, they really made my dreams come true! The service we recieved was fantastic from start to finish. Joy in the office was so helpful in arranging our booking. The horses John and Merlin were absolutely beautiful, so friendly and well behaved. Our coachman and woman were wonderful, they looked so smart and made us feel at ease on the day. The carriage was stunning, riding in it was one of my favourite parts of our day and I will remember it forever. Huge thank you to Danny and the team.

I couldn't recommend The Ostler more highly! They were absolutely fantastic and provided a five star service for our wedding day. They made me feel like a total princess, helping me into the carriage, holding my flowers, checking how I felt and making sure I was comfortable. They arrived in the morning with plenty of time for photographs and went through the route with my father. They got us to the church on time and then onto the venue. Every passing person was waving, taking photos and smiling, it made us feel even more special!!
All of our guests loved the horses, who were very well behaved and cuddly. You could see how well they are looked after and how kindly they are treated.
If you want a five star service, book, book, book!!
