Every Girls dream....We booked the horse 🐴 and carriage for our daughters prom. We arranged to visit the farm where we were greeted by Steven who happily showed us the choice of carriages, Debbie advised us what extras can be added to the carriages ie flowers 💐 or 🎀 ribbons. Next we meet the horses 🐴 that would pull the carriage..the service was excellant, all members of the family are involved with the business which made this a streamline process from start to finish🙂

On the day of the prom we met Steven and his dad, who looked outstanding.. they turned up in top 🎩 and tails and the horses 🐴 looked stunning with white feathers....

The whole experience is magical...💕

If your looking for an memory to keep then you won’t be disappointed...

Yesterday I buried my younger sister as having horses all my life and my sister when younger I choose berkhamsytch carriages, who were highly recommended by the funeral company we used Ian Mann marple bridge office. My daughter owns the famous showing horse hallmark the nineth who has won hoys 6 times and went supreme hoys 2013 , so as showing people we know a good turnout . These horses were turned out to perfection as was the beautiful carriage the hole team were first class. Furthermore they took my sister nearly five miles to the cemetery , with Ian manns funeral car making sure they were safe from oncoming traffic. Can not recommend high enough If anyone needs a true reference to service this is it many thanks to you all for helping my sisters send off special. Kind regards k boden. Humphries and Rodgers family. Xx

One of the staff trainers who obviously is the queen bee of the in house team didn't realise that my friend was at the counter to hear her self aggrandising vitriol which was direct at me I walked in an disturbed her drab and in expressive life with by having the audacity to wear a gold faux snakeskin zip up.

Hey, I'm not saying I have good taste, in fact I pride myself on being alternative so I don't sweat the looks, which range from sparked joy to bemused incredulousity. This woman however must have seen me as an opportunity to stake her position as the teams protector and moral enforcer. Making sure her audience of awkwardly overweight middle age women and painfully unassuming Korean exchange students could clearly see what she was doing she started to square up, point in my direction, whilst repeating the words "what the fook is tha!".

So when I let down to plug my phone in she saw here opportunity to pounce. Sheannounce to her wards "to watch this" so they could see her "have it out", to which I became aware of her careening over, and bearing down on me screeching that I was allowed to use the plugs because my devices hadn't been PAT tested or some other gubbins. This is MacDonald love, not Glastonbury. And I didn't buy it for a second.

What she hadn't counted on was my friend following behind her and then asking her to apologise to me for the manner in which she had insulted me behind my back but clearly in front of other paying customers. Well she didn't like that and suddenly went apoplectic with rage. My mate, who is also not one to back down, calmly kept counterarguing her pathetic attempts to angrily justify and defend herself. As nothing really gets solved in conflict, I had plenty of time to eat my food and charge my phone.

I will say this, McDonald's. Definitely not the kind of bigot that I would be happy to let train my staff. Someone clearly slipped the net there. And the manager who was called obviously didn't have the leadership strength to stand up to this bully herself so I can't imagine that there will be any repercussions that will stop similar behaviour for her, and any impressionable staff under her mentorship...

Thank you to Fred and his girls for a fantastic and most magnificant turn out of horses. They were amazing to see and carried my mother to her final resting place with such flare and awe that she would have loved it! xx
