Ferniehirst Castle

loved being there, have enjoyed my visit.

An interesting castle. The tour we had was the last one of the day, led by Bob Lawson. We were walked round the grounds and castle while Bob provided an abundance of information.

Wonderful to see ancestral Castle and history

Beautiful castle with amazing history to it. Our tour guide Val was the best ever tour guide. This lady was so friendly & welcoming & her knowledge of the castle & history in general was out of this world. We'll be back next year for the open day. Love this castle. 10/10 from us.

Interesting place connected to border history

Loved the castle. The guide was knowledgeable about it. Just a long guided tour.

If you are a Kerr or even if you aren't, thos place is lovely. Our tourguide, Bob Lawson, is the most knowledgeable person on all things Kerr related and is notable historian on the subject. He oozes with passion and love for his work. I highly recommend this place. And the tour only costs 10 pounds.
