Horseradish Events & Catering

We recently arranged our daughter's wedding at the Chester Town Hall. It was all arranged within five weeks and from start to finish Horseradish were absolutely excellent. We made the initial arrangements with Gail who guided us through the process smoothly and met us at the venue a couple of times to go through things. The day before we attended to decorate the room and from that moment Dan from Horseradish oversaw everything for us. Everything went smoothly on the day and the food and service was outstanding. Several guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted! I was the family wedding planner, and I totally relaxed on the day knowing that everything was safe in Dan's hands. The whole day was perfect from start to finish and I can't thank Horseradish enough. Just incredible!!

I worked with Gail to organise the Hawarden High School Leaving Dinner 2016, hosted at the racecourse. She was very helpful and the staff on the night were too. The food was amazing and so much better than expected. Would love to eat there again.

At least Dick Turpin wore a mask. We had a cup of tea and a couple of sandwiches at Chester Town Hall provided by Horseradish for £13. Disgraceful, and abuse of the monopoly they hold being the contract catered at the Town Hall. There are far better and far more reasonable caterers available.

Son used for his wedding food was lovely and all the waiting staff were so helpful and polite. Bar staff were great and a big thank you to the girls we had doing the evening bar. Would definitly recommend thank you

Horseradish provided the food at our wedding at Tatton Park last month and they did not disappoint! The service of all staff members was absolutely excellent, especially Eric who went above and beyond to ensure our day went perfectly. The food was outstanding and we had so many comments from our guests saying how fantastic the food and service were (we had canapés, BBQ buffet and dessert buffet, as well as evening food). Couldn’t have asked for more! Would highly recommend.

Recently attended one of Horseradish's events in Liverpool Cathedral. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and delicious. The service was attentive and perfectly timed. I would highly recommend, a very professional caterer.

Disappointed in this evenings overall offering .After 30 minutes of being seated the bar was still not prepared to serve an alcoholic drink . This is despite the itinerary for the night saying that unlimited drinks would be available . After all this was part of the package we bought .£110 for 3 course meal and unlimited drinks .Staff said they weren’t able to serve drinks as management had instructed them not to .I suggest management need to review this as it wasn’t what our contract said.
Starters were disappointing terrines very meagre portions like a taster menu ! butter was on table but no bread rolls and staff not prepared to provide. Main course the chicken was average 6/10 .Asked for a coffee after the meal and told not available. Asked them to go back and rethink this and suddenly coffee appeared.
All in all a very underwhelming dining experience and certainly not value for money whether it is Christmas or not .
Came away feeling short changed by whole experience.
