Great views of the old mausoleum and a short jaunt from the Riverside. Service was speedy and the etiquette was high. A major downside to the food was that the chips appeared to be reheated. The chicken New Yorker was hot and delectable. A good spot for an affordable lunch. If you want more upmarket meals, however, try Urbano 32 on Bridge Street.

A beautiful Catholic church close to the historic city centre, very popular with the locals.

Beautiful Catholic Church. I’ve been going for more than a year (before that was going to the St Francis of Assisi church also in Chester city centre - lovely choir). The 10:45 Sunday mass has a lovely pipe organ playing.

A beautiful church inside and out with a wonderful priest, Father Paul.

Lovely church and Father Paul is really friendly, helpful and entertaining! Parking here is very limited so best to assume that you need to park elsewhere. Waitrose is near and allows 1 hour 30 minutes parking for customers. There is also 2 NCP car parks close by but these are not cheap!

It's not the church; it's the Priest. A sharp intellect, and sharper sense of humour plus a deep love of people and his vocation. I'm not a Catholic but he has still given me his time and counsel.
