Sprucedale Cattery

This was the first time that Oliver (our cat) had stayed with Mike & Tanya as we have just moved to the area. We had a fantastic weeks holiday & so did Oliver. He returned looking well & healthy which was lovely to see. Mike & Tanya are lovely people & their facilities clean and well maintained. Glad to have such a lovely cattery so close. See you soon.

Our 8 month old cat stayed at Sprucedale for the weekend. The cattery was well maintained and very clean. Mike and Tanya were very friendly and put us at ease when leaving our cat for our holiday, sending updates while we were away. We had a lovely stress free holiday and our cat came back very happy. Thank you!

Tanya and Mike were excellent carers to my elderly cat. It was the first time I had used a cattery since having Meme and they put my mind at ease from the very start. I could not recommend Sprucedale Cattery enough. They kept me informed about her regularly and went above and beyond with her care. Thank you so much Mike and Tanya you were amazing.

We were going away for a long weekend and needed someone to look after our kitten Leo. I found Sprucedale Cattery on Google and booked him in due to all the glowing reviews and I was not disappointed. The cattery itself is lovely. There is lots of space and privacy, it's very clean, secure and Leo felt very at home there. I was worried about booking him in to a cattery initially because Leo is a bit of a shy cat and has never stayed in one before but I shouldn't have worried and will be booking him in when we go on our next trip for sure!!! Tanya went above and beyond with everything and sent me regular photos and updates which really put my mind at rest whilst we were away. Thank you Sprucedale Cattery!!

Rosie has just come home from her second stay at Sprucedale Cattery and has been brilliantly looked after on both occasions. The accommodation is spotless and our son has really appreciated the regular photos Tanya sent. We're booking for next year well in advance to reserve Rosie's space!

Absolutely lovely cattery. My 2 elderly cats started needing cattery care late in life when they were getting fussy and needing medication. Mike and Tanyas care was outstanding. They really understand cats, and were expert in tempting them to take meds and very aware of the needs of old, deaf pusscats. Very flexible with my everchanging dates and always prepared to help with logistics. Sadly I no longer have need of a cattery but my daughter continues to use Sprucedale and I can't recommend Mike and Tanya enough.

Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Our cat always comes home happy and well cared for. The couple who run it are lovely and very accommodating. The fact you always have to book well in advance as it's frequently full tells you all you need to know!

I needed a place for 5 days my almost 2 year old indoor cat, who can be very shy of new people. He was fine with this very caring cat loving family, who sent us updates and took the best care of him. He was super happy, and chatty, when he came home, so I know he has been well looked after.
