My Dad’s cat Wellington stays here whenever he goes abroad. Whilst we have tried other catteries over the years, this is by far the best and Wellington’s favourite. When Wellington stays here, he is very happy, content and not stressed at all (due to the spacious enclosures and the evident attention and love Ray and the team give to the cats). Wellington is a very nosy boy, so enjoys that every enclosure at Happy Cattery has its own window which looks out onto the garden - Wellington appreciates bird spotting. My Dad always takes Wellington here as our top choice of Cattery. Wellington hates dogs and barking, so it is fantastic that Happy Cattery does not have any dogs and is lovely and tranquil (some catteries are both catteries and kennels, so have dogs barking, which terrifies Wellington).
I personally have two very energetic burmese cats called Cicero and Saphira. As my dads cat, Wellington, loves Happy Cattery, we decided to take Cicero and Saphira here at Christmas (this was their first ever stay at a cattery). One of them is naturally more nervous than the other, and we were worried about leaving them at any cattery, but both Cicero and Saphira had a brilliant stay at Happy Cattery and were extremely relaxed and content when we collected them. Ray and the team at Happy Cattery really do put a lot of time into getting to know each cat, and giving them lots of care and attention - they were able to tell us in detail things about our cats which you could only know by having genuinely spent a lot of time with them. We recently tried a couple of over catteries for Cicero and Saphira which were closer to where we live, thinking Cicero and Saphira didn’t mind catteries. We were horrified when we picked them up from the other catteries, they were timid and hissing (not them selves at all) - they were clearly very stressed and hadn’t received much attention - the owners of the other catteries also didn’t seem to know much about the cats personalities or even if they had eaten their food... It became apparent that not all catteries are as good as Happy Cattery. We will now never risk taking Cicero and Saphira to any other cattery other than Happy Cattery with Ray. No other cattery looks after them as well as Happy Cattery. Highly recommend Happy Cattery, don’t risk anywhere else with your precious fur babies, you’ll have peace of mind if you take them to stay with Ray at Happy Cattery, knowing how well he will get to know their individual personalities, needs and care for them accordingly.
Thanks Happy Cattery! Wellington, Cicero and Saphira loves staying with you!
