Nutwood Cattery

We decided to get two kittens and suddenly realised that we would have to put them in a cattery over peak holiday season. As I didn’t have a lot of time to actually check out any catteries I had to rely on recommendations so booked the last spaces with Nutwood. I won’t lie - I was very apprehensive about dropping them off and leaving them - especially as one cat was on medication - but as soon as I turned up I know they’d be in safe hands. Both Nicky and Lizzie obviously love cats, the runs were clean and well maintained and it’s obvious that they would be treated so well. Both cats were happy when we picked them up and we immediately booked for next year and will continue to use them whenever needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them

Nicola kept me regularly updated on how both my cats were doing throughout the whole time they were staying there, which kept my mind at ease whilst I was away- especially when they are only kittens and this was their first experience away in a cattery. Have just picked up my 2 cats from an 8 day stay and could not be happier. Their pen was of a good size with plenty of furniture to keep them entertained. They looked happy and relaxed when we arrived and have been very well cared for in the extremely hot weather. We will definitely be using Nutwood again.

I’m always happy to leave my cat at Nutwood. The staff make a huge effort with each cat and they’re all clearly very happy whilst staying. I would happily recommend Nutwood to anyone.

Highly recommend. The pens are a great size and set in a peaceful location. My cat came back happy and healthy.

This was our first experience with a cattery with our one year old kitten. We had been there to check it out a couple of months ago and felt very comfortable with Nicola and Lizzie running the place and both ladies are very obviously very caring of their cat 'clients' so we had no hesitation to leave Larry with them for 4 days last weekend. He was shy at first but settled in and by all accounts, was well taken care of. A big plus was to receive photos of Larry during his stay and assurances that he was doing OK. He was a bit subdued when he first came home but hardly surprising as this was his first time in unfamiliar surroundings. We shall definitely book him in again at Nutwood Cattery and at least for as long as Nicola and Lizzie are there which I hope will be for a long time to come.

We booked our cat at Nutwood for 2 nights, he had never been to a cattery before so i was a little apprehensive but after meeting Nicola and Lizzie i knew he was in safe hands and felt completely at ease with our cat being there. Lizzie asked if i minded pictures of him being taken for their social media pages so that was lovely being able to see that he was happy there. I will definitely being booking him back in when he needs a holiday 🐱 thank you so much for giving our kitty a fab time and looking after him so well.

Used a couple of times now and will surely be having our cat stay again. Nicola and Lizzie are very friendly and make the whole experience a joy for us and our cat. Highly recommended!
