The chapel at Robinson's college is open to the public when they are putting on an event. I went to the Gospel Choir of Cambridge University who put on an outstanding performance. The college is built of red bricks and the chapel is no exception. The height of the chapel is huge and contributes to it's grandeur. It is done in a modern style though and reminds me of modern church buildings I have visited in the States. Towards the front there is a raised platform, that is more than just a pulpit, it could lend itself to that function or several others, e.g a small choir could sing from there. The Chapel is near the entrance to the college and there are amenities such as loos and a cafe and a shop very close by. It is pleasent and cool to be in the chapel on a hot day. There was a good sense of community amongsth the audience when I visited.
