I have a 15 plate Mazda, which is well loved and well used (164000 miles) but had a heating issue and was also losing coolant. A mechanic friend of the family diagnosed this as a potential problem with the head gasket and recommended Apolo to me.

From the outset they were very honest and helpful and advised that due to the mileage of the car, if it was the head gasket, it wasn't something they would undertake, but they still booked in the car to properly diagnose the issue for me.

Unfortunately, it was the head gasket, so they took the time call another garage that would undertake the work and get some pricing for me.

As suspected, it turns out the cost of repair is more than the car is worth and even though it didn't take long to properly test the head gasket, the total cost for their time and advice was a princely zero pounds.

Needless to say, whatever new car I get, I will be taking it and my wife's car to them in the future... Thanks Gents, very much appreciated.
