Sussex High Weald Dairy

Sarah and Mark are wonderful, as was my tour guide Chris. Friendly, wonderful people making phenomenal cheeses. The Dill Slipcote is outstanding and obviously Brighton Blue is one of the finest cheeses to have been produced in this country.

They sell cheese although on both visits I made they felt reluctant to sell me anything beyond the small packets. It is very nice cheese but it certainly isn't cheap and from a Cheddar perspective the strength is probably one level below what you might expect (medium=mild).

Amazing experience on the Cheese Tour. Steve is an great 'showman' and leads the tour with aplomb. I would go again in a heartbeat if it wasn't for all the cheese to taste and it ayong havoc with the waistline.
