These classes were the highlight of my week during my pregnancy. Karin creates such a lovely warm and friendly environment. Each week I would leave feeling relaxed and nurtured as a mother, having thoroughly enjoyed the class and the lovely supportive connection felt with a fab group of like-minded mums. Karin has an amazing motherly wisdom and goes the extra mile in her classes when it comes to birth preparation. Her advice on optimal positioning, pain management, and active labor was so valuable. This was my second pregnancy and I still felt I learned loads and was better prepared than ever! It has been wonderful to join her Motherhood Gatherings now baby is here, and great to see my new friends from class as well as their beautiful babies. Its an opportunity to enjoy some yoga, massage and singing with baby whilst also sharing the challenges and joys of birth and motherhood in a very caring and non-judgmental environment. So glad I found Birthwise and most especially Karin!

I absolutely loved the weekly yoga and birth classes, which kept me moving throughout my pregnancy. Patricia always made plenty of time for talking through our questions or concerns and discussing all kinds of issues that come up about birth and it was a really warm and friendly space to be in each week. I'm still in touch with women from my class now I'm a new mum and would really recommend going along whatever stage of pregnancy you're at.

For any Mums to be out there I would definitely recommend starting Birthwise at the start of your pregnancy journey. Karin is incredibly informative and has great tips for mentally and emotionally preparing you for a positive active birth experience. I met such a lovely and supportive bunch of women. I couldn’t recommend this class enough!

I went to Patricia’s prenatal yoga classes for over 6 months and thoroughly enjoyed them. The yoga was suitable for everyone with harder & easier options. We focused on breathing techniques which I found so useful during my labour. I also learned so much about the birthing process, my choices, active birth & how birth can be a positive experience. I’d recommend them to any pregnant woman & will definitely return if I have another. Thanks Patricia.

I started attending Patricia’s classes when I was 14 weeks pregnant and feeling pretty nervous about the whole thing! Patricia gave me a confidence in the strength and capabilities of my body that took much of the fear of childbirth from me and instead left me feeling empowered.

If I missed a session, Patricia would always go the extra mile to catch me up on zoom or in another class. I could always tell if I hadn’t been to class that week as the pregnancy aches and pains as well as my frame of mind we’re always worse. My back in particular was so much better because of Patricia’s classes and the strength and resilience she helped me to develop through yoga were indispensable during labour and in the first few months of motherhood. She supported me to feel confident in my birth choices and to assert them when challenged.

Patricia’s classes were a safe space for me in a time of the unknown and I will forever be grateful for the difference they made to my whole peri and post natal experience. You will not find someone who is more ready to listen, understand, to push you or support you when you need it and your future self will be so grateful of the strength and power you will gain mentally and physically.

Love Love Love!! Recommend to all pregnant ladies! Birthwise offer great classes for when pregnant and with baby.
I really enjoyed the pregnancy Yoga with Patricia. I learnt a lot and she helped me prepare myself mentally and physically for the special day.
I looked forward to my Wednesday afternoons as it was a time to slow down and connect with baby.

Absolutely brilliant pregnancy class. Karin is wonderful. I felt so welcome and supported and really enjoyed the gentle yoga. Lovely to have some time to really focus on my baby and enjoy my pregnancy. Helped me feel so prepared for birth, and gave me a lot of confidence in my decision making and my ability to cope with labour. Would recommend to any pregnant person, no matter what type of birth you are planning.

I have done these active birth classes for my 3 pregnancies and it was so good to learn about birth and our bodies, as well as doing yoga postures to release aches and pains. I learnt many techniques to use to help labour and birth and I felt really empowered when the time came. The couples classes are also great so the partner feels prepared. Karin and Patricia are so supportive also postnatally. It's so much more than pregnancy yoga, I would thoroughly recommend.
