Mr Chan's Restaurant

Update: It is of great surprise to me that Mr Chen's replied to my comment in such a negative way. The food was simply bland, lacking flavour and oily. I never requested for extra chicken in my meal and definitely not for free (maybe your confusing costumers or just clearly lying...) This simply shows me the unprofessionalism. Yes, I order Beef Chow Mein but that doesn't mean I want to eat bland, ill seasoned food. Usually when I order this dish from a Chinese restaurant it is a accompanied with onions or peppers ... SOMETHING! The truth is the dish was bad, I didn't finish it. Instead of spending your time replying sarcastically why don't you try improving the dish. Just saying ...

Ordered Beef Chow Mein, it was oily, and lacked flavour. The beef was coated in a slightly slimy substance and very chewy. Had to collect it from the shop which was decorated with old fashioned decor, smelled a little funny and a bit dusty. Wont be ordering again.

A beautiful restaurant, beautiful decor, nice atmosphere, and the food, is in my opinion, the best & absolutely stunning. Friendly staff.
This is our all time favourite restaurant, and has been for years. Love it.

Meal was ok, a little slow but the food was nice.

Menu a little confusing, not a complaint of this restaurant but I feel Chinese meals out only really work as buffet.

Absolutely disgraceful 😤 I've only gave it a star as I have to toput a review in. I wouldn't eat there again if they offer to pay me.

my self,and my family,have been attending,mr chans for the last 30yrs,we have recieved fantrastic service and food,staff are very polite and caring,but i think other people should not attend the restaurant in rowdy mood ,and respect the staff

Very nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Superb food that's mostly reasonably priced. Very wide range of dishes available. Enjoyed it very much. Went for a belated anniversary meal and it was wonderful. We will deffinatly go again.

Quiet possibly the worst Chinese I have ever attempted to eat. Poor quality slimey ingredients, lack of flavour in most dishes and those that did have flavour were a taste I have never experienced before or hope i never again. Very very poor.

Two stars given as food quality wasn't awful. No baby changing facilities and when staff were questioned as to what alternative there was the suggestion was to change the baby on the toilet floor. Understaffed and though they clearly tried to compensate by working harder they just needed more help. Won't be going again, if I lived close I might order a takeaway from them but I wouldn't expect it to turn up warm or on time.
