Decent dim sum.
Everything ordered was steaming hot and well made.
From what I’ve seen they have the largest range of Cantonese style dim sum items available in the center.
A good idea to call and reserve a table as I noticed a few walk ins turned away.

Dim sum was OK, some dishes good some are not as good. Service alright. Clean and nice vibe. But when we payed for the bill, the restaurant owner gave us an old £5 note change and told us it can be used till this October. I questioned as I remembered it is no longer in use. She insisted so I took it. When I used it in other places I was told it was no longer in use for FIVE YEARS. And I had to go to the bank to get it changed. Totally unacceptable to deceive your customer just because we don't look like locals. Such a shame for the food you cooked.

A very good chinese restaurant and her dim sums are delicious.

High-quality dim sum in the heart of Cambridge. Charlie Chan has been around for ages and it never disappoints. It is worth calling ahead to book your table just for extra certainty as they can sometimes be full at lunchtimes.

Looks like a family run place. Very friendly owners and excellent food. Casual place but has all what one wants to see in menu. Great place to enjoy authentic Chinese food. Best were dumplings and chicken in black pepper sauce. A treat in the heart of the town. Enjoy

Reminds me of your typical London Chinatown restaurant - menu, layout, decor, customer base. Food was good. Service was good (unlike London Chinatown, ha ha), but oh the toilets are too much like London on this occasion, unfortunately an incontinent patron had urinated all over the floor just in front of the urinals. Stepping in a puddle of urine to urinate was not pleasant way to end the evening.

Very high quality and authentic dim sum, they also follow a very traditional style, which not many restaurants still do. It has a very lively atmosphere and the service for me was incredibly rapid. I recommend coming in smaller groups as service is faster. The staff are also very friendly.

It is custom for the staff to remove plates and steaming baskets while you are still eating and there is a 10% service fee.
Overall my experience was excellent.

Nice interior and quick service. They have authentic dim sum, would recommend to whoever wants some Cantonese dishes in Cambridge.
