Friendly staff, food was great. The BBQ spare ribs was flavourful and tender. Food arrived quickly. Tried Sake for the first time, and it went well with the food. Overall great experience.

The freshest Chinese in my local area. Very friendly staff. Great portions and tasty food. The chef even comes out and greets you so your able to give your compliments. You can go there causually and also order take away.

I’ve been ordering from McChina for 7 years and the mannerisms is extremely poor! I recently ordered food from them costing over £30 and the the rice dish went bad after taking the tiniest portion out, when it cooled down I stored it in the fridge and as I went to get it the next day it was all slimy! I called them on Monday and left a voicemail as they were not open, no one got back to me! I called back on Thursday and I was told that Chinese is not meant to be eaten the day after that it had to be consumed on the same day and they couldn’t offer me a refund or replace the dish! This is absolutely appalling!

Ordered for the first time this weekend when their menu leaflet was posted through the letterbox. We went for the set menu for two. It was incredible. Delivered within 20 minutes. All the dishes were very tasty and of high quality. Very generous portions as well, took us most of the evening to get through it all. 10/10 will be definitely ordering again.

As a Chinese person, the quality is very good and we love the food! The staff are very friendly and the restaurant has a warm atmosphere. For delivery, make sure to order earlier as delivery time, because of many orders, can increase. Highly recommend.

As a vegetarian McChina wasn't very tasty. I ordered the Salt and Chili tofu, vegetable curry and egg fried rice. The batter around the tofu was incredibly gelatinous and not crispy, the vegetable curry had way too much curry powder in and the fried rice wasn't fried. Overall horrible.

Upon creating this review, I cannot find a single downfall with the restaurant. The staff were nothing short of amazing, which matched the quality of the food. Furthermore, the history behind the name is very interesting and amusing. The decor could maybe use some work but still not enough to bring the review down from the full 5 stars.
