Uncooked batter soggy hard chicken in the chicken balls.

Salt and pepper chips were steamed and soggy and zero flavour

Chicken chow mein stone cold

Egg fried rice cold and hard

Prawn on toast I mean a quality street would be bigger than these tiny pieces of 4 in a tub and no lemon to keep it fresh.

Crispy chilli beef is absolutely disgusting no flavour and soggy

Would of been better off with a meal deal from Iceland

Never ever am going back management refuse to even listen to a complaint 36 quid wasted

My family really fancied a chinese and our local one that we used to use has really gone down hill. Picked East Ocean as it had very good reviews. Was not disappointed! Ordered our food online for delivery, could select the time we wanted it delivered by. Very reasonable on price and food arrived on time, delivery driver very polite. The food was exceptional and good sized portions. Best chinese my family have eaten, very tasty! Will definitely order from them again.

TERRIBLE service, ordered for my birthday online to be delivered and waited for 1 hour and a half and called up, they said it was on the way to us, waited another 35 minutes and still no food. Called up again and they said they had no order from us. Ruined my birthday evening and gave us false hope that the food was coming for an hour.

We love going to East Ocean! The food is great and the staff is amazing. We tried the Set Meal for 2 on this visit and was surprised. There was no doubt on the quality and taste but surprised about the portion. It was more than enough for 2 people. Started with Sesame Prawn Toast, Smoked Chicken, Vegetarian Spring Rolls, Satay Chicken on Skewers. The main comes with rice & chow mein and we got to choose 3 mains we chose lemon chicken, duck in bean sauce and stir fried mix sea food. We were stuffed by the end of dinner but thought of ordering both the pineapple and banana fritters to take home and enjoy. They are still implementing safe and distanced setting and clean and sanitize the tables after every use.
Could not recommend this place enough. And we will keep coming back here too!

Lovely clean restaurant. We had a set meal of starters and a main meal.Food was served quickly. Prawn crackers were put on the table with sweet chilli sauce. Then we had a selection of starters. It was nice to try a selection of different foods. The main meal was lovely. I will definitely go back again

Meat was tender and good quality, however, we feel cheated over the quantity of food Vs amount paid. £35 paid and portions were so small. We always have Chinese food leftover after an order but from here, we had nothing left over with this order, not even a prawn cracker! If I'm honest, food wasn't particularly flavoursome either. A bit below average in taste. Crackers were also stale and much of it was cold by the time it arrived. I think they have been so busy that it affected their service. Sadly won't be coming back here for delivery.

Ordered via Uber eats. Ended up being 2 hours and no food. I rung and they said it’s on route, 20 mins later I rung again they said still on route and 10mins. I rung 10mins after that and spoke to a different person who said “the drivers driving slowly” … food never actually arrived. Uber eats refunded. No idea what was going on!

Visited on 21.8.2021 to collect a take-away. Crispy beef, lemon chicken, sweet & sour chicken, egg fried rice and noodles. All excellent. Could see and taste the fresh ingredients. Very tasty and good value. Highly recommended
