Absolutely top notch Cantonese classics served generously and beautifully prepared. Prices are keen (£10.50 for a lovey big plate of roast duck on crispy noodles) and servers smiley and efficient. Easily recommended.

Ordered a dumpling and duck noodle, two drinks. A cozy restaurant with nice staff. The food is okay. Worth to spend sometime here near Kingston town centre.

Desparate for cantonese cha chan teng after we moved south…. Found this gem in kingston! Walked in, playing jay chau music, smell the stir fry in the air, we know this is the right place :) beef fried hor fun, sing vermicelle, e-fu noodles….iced lemon tea! Thankyou for satisfying my hk food crave. We will come back for sure!

We ordered fire rice, crispy noodles, and the roasted duck with steam rice. The food is very great and having excellent 「鑊氣」!The most Unforgettable is the Hong Kong-style mike tea. This is totally authentic....having the taste of the 🍵 The location of the restaurant of is good. You could easily find a parking at a public parking behind the restaurant. Another option, you could park at John Lewis which is about 10 mins walk. Also, you could visit the High Street nearby and walk along the river path at Kingston.

This I think is how chinese food should be made. Simple looking but impeccable flavours. I’d come back very often. Very reasonable prices and accommodating service from the team. We ordered the Prawn Curry and Braised Pork. The taste of the curry is authentic and not too overpowering. The pork is so soft I did not even have to chew. Well sone!

It is a typical Cha Chaan Tan restaurant. Ordered a roast duck rice and fried water spinach with chili bean curd sauce (椒絲腐乳通菜。Only 5 pieces of duck meat were on the plate, however, cold and no taste. The fried vegetable was quite hot and well prepared. I believe their menu for frying is good. It is to note that their dishes portion is relatively small. The cloth cover of my chair is full of marks of dirt and stain.

This restaurant is very famous in the area. My friend took me there for the first time. However, I was a bit disappointed about the quality of food. The price of dim sum is comparable to Central London’s restaurants. The portion of the chicken feet was very small and they were shredded poorly. I bet there were less than 2 whole feet if I put the pieces together. The pork belly dish was too salty. Wok fried dishes were comparatively better. I would prefer the frozen dim sum from Iceland or Costco…

I have just been here with my two friends, and while the restaurant itself is perfectly lovely, the food is acceptable- be warned of hidden prices... for a few (small, then one main meal) things off the menu, 2 bubble teas and ONE pot of tea, cost £48... I ordered one pot of tea (£5.40) then asked for 2 extra cups (no extra tea, just the cups!) so we could share the one pot, we were told by a waitress it would cost a little more- which I said was fine...
It cost £10.80 extra! For 2 extra cups, so we could share the pot! We were not told this price until the bill arrived. Long story short, it was a crazy amount for so little, and one pot of tea cost us almost £17!

*Edit*
I called the restaurant to contest the bill after I'd had to leave early, and was told by the manager that we had accepted the price already... we had not been told it would be THAT much extra! Please be more upfront about how expensive it is to simply share one pot of tea between friends.
