Mimosa Restaurant & Bar

This restaurant looked huge from the outside and it lived to its image, the inside was a large area that caters for small and large groups.

We paid for the buffet lunch and were told we needed to purchase drinks separately from the bar 😶

There was a lot of food on display, but very little to choose from because it was tasteless.
You can tell that everything was pre-cooked when it was bought in bulk, then warmed up and served to the dinners to eat.

Very disappointing and when I mentioned it to the manager he said « next time you will enjoy the food ».

There will be no next time especially when there are a lot of other different and flavoursome cuisines to go to.

A nice little all you can eat place, family friendly and welcoming.
I like the fact you can choose between many different dishes and that they are prepared on a freshly made base!
Sadly not opening at lunch time anymore.

A restaurant that must be visited on the weekend with the family. It is very clean inside, clearing the plates very quickly by the restaurant employees, the food is tastier with the new management. You get a new impression after visiting the Mimosa restaurant

Very good place to have dinner, buffet with a good variety of Indian and Cantonese food, also in theory there is Japanese food but there were only 2 types of sushi, the food and desserts are tasty, we will return soon, I recommend it.

Horrendous. Chinese food was all disgustingly salty and every sauce was so gooey and thick. The sushi bar was two kinds of sushi - crabstick and veg (the same veg as the crabstick) and the salad bar was coleslaw, tomatoes and cucumber, some brown lettuce and some sweetcorn. All of the food was lukewarm at best. At almost £40 for two people I'd give it a miss. Also, drink was taken away before it was even finished!

We used to eat here alot but since it's changed hands it got so expensive for less choice. You have to pay upfront so no waiter service for drinks... So disappointing

Food looks gorgeous and plenty to choose from. Enough veggie options. Dessert is yet to be tested. But overall, I am for sure coming back. Staff friendly and helpfull.

One way system and use of disposable gloves for covid measures 👌Unfortunately their advertised 'special' curry wasn't on the menu. Food was average in terms of buffet food, not as good as their Aldershot branch which has far more options and quality of food also higher at Aldershot. Staff friendly and helpful enough and ensures tables were cleared promptly but let down by the food.
