Coming from London, it's pretty overpriced compared to Chinatown. The food is a good depending what you get but the portion size are quite small. Dim sum were ok, but I only ordered one, really just wanted cheung fun but they ran out and we weren't told :/
To order your food, you need to complete an ordering sheet like those traditional dim sum papers, which is interesting but no staff informed us that we needed to go to the counter to order and you don't get the paper back once you make an order which is annoying if you want to order more.
Also, it would be nice if they told us some items were unavailable.
The HK milk tea tasted authentic, it was the better tasting item that we ordered.
There are better places in Exeter to try

Ordered a whole duck for takeaway today. They only gave one tablespoon of duck sauce. Disappointed

Great Asian food, and reasonably priced.
The main meals of around £11-12 ish are large portions that'll easily satisfy an adult, and the dumplings and buns are delicious.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Being cash only is a bit of a phaff, but as long as you know beforehand it's not a major issue.

The place is over lit but food is what matters. Dim sum, roast meat with rice , hot pot and noodles were the main items on the menu. You pick what you want and mark on the printout and pay at the counter. Full of Chinese students and packed. In my day I had pot noodle and beans. Had ho fun with beef black bean sauce, rice with rubs and chicken feet and choi sum. Too much. Very authentic Cantonese.

Cash only. Dim sum in Exeter, woohoo! There’s a big menu choice and it’s easy to be greedy as there is so much to choose from the two menus -dim and also another of bigger dishes. Have the seafood laksa it’s really good. The roast pork was good the dumplings also. Something for everyone.

We stumbled upon this restaurant when browsing around Google Maps for places to eat and I'm so glad we did find it! I had been craving proper Chinese food for a while and this did not disappoint! It was huge inside and the service was very friendly and efficient. We ordered the dim sum platter which consisted of five different varieties of dim sum (such as crab, siu mai, veggie, plus others) and you got two each - all were very well filled and delicious!! We also ordered the char siu cheung fun, fried custard buns, two roast rice (I had duck and char siu), and the mala spicy pork noodles. It was all delicious and so filling!! I wish I lived closer as I'd happily go again and again! Highly reccommend this restaurant!

First and last visit - 3 degrees c outside and restaurant has no heating, keep your coat on!
Dim sum is not good and lacks fresh flavour so suspect it’s produced from frozen, bbq meat ok, no atmosphere, staff not very welcoming.
